hiya the info on the smeg box is.
    ART No; 795210481.
    motore; ksev910x

there is a sticker on the motor itself with,
    2007Z (or poss 2) N

this mtr has 7 wires and the original has 6 i assume the smeg mtr has more speed settings?

i know its a bit of a bodge but i cant see any reason why it shouldent work besides my suppliers dont seem as efficent lately, for some reason!? 🙄

    many thanks Dom

Have you checked the heater relay? There is normally a dry joint burnt out.

Exeter diesels tel 01392206306 but there are loads of them round this part i think they get them at auction. Hitachi capital finance is listed as the previous keeper maybe worth a look 😉

so i am not the only one 😳 🙄
good point about “responsibilty of ownership” and who “owns” the problem as I tend to take on all the responsibilty and as a result get very stressed 🙁

I have a citroen berlingo 1.9d 51reg very happy with it, in fact someone ran me off the road 🙄 in my first one so this is my second. It’s ex british gas fleet (so I must be the first engineer to drive it 😆 ) it has high security locks on it and the back is like a safe so you can leave all your tools etc in the back overnight and they leave all the storage racks in the back in short it was modified for our trade 😀 and they are well maintained.

it’s not filling check that the water is turned on also you could try the inlet filter by taking of the inlet pipe on the machine (after swiching it off and turning the water off!!) if it is neither of these call a local engeneer (one available on this very website look up repairs@ ) 😉
