    Re: Hotpoint WT540 relays clicking.

Just thought you’d like to know that the fault turned out to be the wiring harness, although can’t see any damage. New harness fitted, all OK. Thanks for reading.

Motor runs when spin cycle selected, but only briefly. It seems everything works, but only for a few seconds. Just this relay clicking constantly.

Found the problem. Sump hose is gradually collapsing when wash motor kicks in. To the point where the motor sounds as though it’s running slow. I thought these hoses were quite rigid but this one is very soft. Maybe the W/Pool motors are more powerful than the original Askoll type. Thanks for your input. Hope this might save you some time.

    Re: Diplomat ADP8322

Thanks for your tips, but it’s definately a slow running motor. Everything seems to be normal just underpowered.

Yes. And it heats and completes cycle.

Last comment a bit unfair. It was 8 flashes by the way, so collect your bets! Customer has ditched machine for “something better”. Hotpoint probably!! Thanks for your help.

T.O.C. is most common fault (175deg.). Module VERY rare.

Re: Bosch WAE24363 Fault Code F21

Recently had same fault on 2 wae24364’s (used 5 or 6 times a day). Replaced power module, and configured, all ok now. BSH Technical offered little help other than saying fault maybe caused by mains spike. It seems to me that when machines are heavily used carbon dust causes short on motor and spikes module. Clean motor thoroughly before fitting new carbons. I’ve sold loads of these, I hope it’s not going to be an epidemic!!

Re: Diplomat ADP8902 fills then aborts

Thanks, that got it going, but after running rinse ok I set it to normal wash. Worked for 10 mins. then aborted with smell of burning which I traced to door wiring hot and melted into soundproofing. Still to investigate why, but think there must a heater or circ. pump fault for it to generate that heat after such a short time. Will keep you posted.
