    Re: Siemens SE26T251GB/07

I appreciate your comments but am no further forward. I’ve replaced the pressure chamber assy. which comes with new microswitches. The new heat exchanger fills to the brim but doesn’t release into the cabinet, so if I abort the cycle and reset it adds just a squirt then stops . I don’t think the machine has been touched before as customer was singing it’s praises, no problems for 6 years!

Don’t think so, as it does it on test, with no detergent or crockery every time.
What was the Bosch mod. Can you tell me?
I’m beginning to think it’s Module fault as everything test ok.

Did you ever find the answer to this? I’ve been to one doing exactly the same. Everything seems clean and clear and fault occurs on timed or sensor cycles. Any clues please.

Had similar faults on Hotpoint and Miele in the last couple of weeks. Referred them back to manufacturers. As you say, parts are expensive and if you’re wrong…..

Thanks guys for your advice. Paul got it!. Although there didn’t seem to be a blockage, on removing the condenser unit and flushing it through, out came about 4 handsful of fluff. Once cleaned, all OK.

Insulation on all components fine .Because machine had been on for a while everything was warmed up, so I think it would have shown up. Customer has used machine since and says it’s OK. Seems odd though. Maybe it was the pump after all.

I’ve tried both programming and service mode. There is no control over what happens, I think the electronic has failed! I just wondered if anyone had seen this happen before.

Check the sump hose isn’t collapsing. Causes all sorts of problems.

Re: Internal wiring for Rangemaster all electric range

Thanks guys for your input. I’ve contacted Rangemaster and am waiting for a call from them. It appears that there is no complete harness, just various sections. The guy I spoke to is looking into getting a complete harness, no promises. I don’t think replacing individual wires is an option as so many are damaged!! Apparantly the little beasts use the insulation for their nests.

    Re: Servis M6011 filter body

No this has a hole in it where the counterweight has chafed against it after the LH tub spring broke. Seems odd that tub spring is available but not the filter housing. Carried out temporary repair, so the machine is working for now.

Customer has decided to wait on repair, so I can’t tell for sure, but I’m pretty certain the clock is at fault.

The door is still locked when problem arises. Is there likely to be a secondary reason?
