    Re: Siemens HB86K570B FAULT E17

    Thanks Paul,
This oven had E16 showing in September, I switched it off and on and fault cleared. Think this may have been early signs of board failure. Will keep you posted.

Re: miele G1530 SC [D/W] – spray arm LED illuminated…

The spray arm light indicates middle spray arm not turning, the middle spray arm has a small magnet in one end that sends pluses to a switch mounted in the detergent dispenser each time it passes by.
It could be customer has loaded an item stopping spray arm turning, spray arm could need cleaning or the circulation pump has a diverter that alternates water feed from top middle/spray arms to lower spray arm and this could be sticking. clayside

    Re: Miele W522P

Remove kickplate/plinth either by two capped screws or if later model it just pulls off. Remove two torx screws holding door lock , remove door seal band and release door seal from front panel,at six o’clock position onder door remove either 10 mm bolt or large torx screw, under front panel where plinth came off their are four small torx screws, two on left hand side and two on right, remove the outer one on each side only. Then front panel should pull away at bottom and then downwards and off.
    Hope this makes sense. clayside

Have been out to look at oven. Switched it off mains to remove from housing, when I swtiched mains back on oven works ok. Have tried all functions including microwave all works.Users instruction book says E16 is technical fault send for engineer. Any ideas as I’m sure this will come back and sting me.
