    I had one same model same problem, test program quickly revealed it was the inlet valve

    If its a hotpoint then 26 hours sounds about right on cotton cycle. lol

    Pulled up at a job a couple weeks ago to find paramedics there, window cleaner had fell off his ladder and was in a bad way. I said i’ll come back but customer insisted they needed their washing machine sorting

    Spray contact cleaner into the selector switch, has always worked for me

    The new owner of the business would have to contact all rental customers and issue them with the new bank details, ss he will need to set up a new business account in his name for the limited company ? and also he would have to apply for a consumer credit licence too ?

    Ok so it turns out as soon as the door locked the machine started to fill regardless of what program was selected.
    Pulled the machine out and the bolts from the front weight were on the floor, along with a lot of concrete dust. #writeoff

    Yes i was thinking that, but they say its fills up rapidly then stops. Not slowly over time ?

    To be honest i’ve never purchased a new one. The problems I had were when refurbishing machines so I used replacement pcb’s that I took off machines with bearings gone. Masterpart do stock them but it doesnt mention whether they are programmed or not

    Had loads of hoovers with this problem, usually board gone. Did you solve it Neil ?
