These things do take a while to heat up, run it for a good 10-20 mins

I Can’t say i’ve ever had one where it only gets warm, but what I would do first is check the PCB for dry solder joints on the heater relay as this is a common problem

Had this a few times in the past on various zanussi models when I used to refurb them, replacing the motor was the only solution.

Had one the other day, however only the start light was flashing rapidly, new door lock solved it

I dont pay for my raw appliances but they are either Mint casing/drum bearings shot or battered casing/good bearings. Therefore alot of drum swaps involved !

How much are these new drums costing? Wont be much profit margin on those surely ?

Re: Old appliances/ scrap metal not being collected!!

After putting a few ads on facebook i’ve managed to collect around 30 appliances in the last two weeks – all for free. And id say about 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} are good for reconditioning. Why pay for raw when its out there for free !

    Re: hotpoint wmud843pxuk door lock

I’ve had a few similar model machines where the faulty door lock had blown tracks on the pcb
