Thanks for the info. re cookies. I will forward it onto wix and see what they say and what they can do about it. I’ll post any reply I get up here if that’s ok.
I may take a look at using a another method of making a website using a more “acceptable” technology, however learning curves and limited resources means it may be a little bit down the line.
I only wanted to point out one method for the self-employed person who is not web-tech savvy and who wants a quick and easy web presence, without laying out a wedge of dosh. Surely a “kludge” is better than nothing at all.
Anyway I welcome all constructive criticisms.

Hi DJ,
I set up my website using an wix.com, they have some nice templates so you don’t need a lot of web experience. Also joined clipart.com and downloaded some graphics.
Only trouble is that wix use flash technology and apple ipads and iphones won’t render flash. Seems a bit stupid to me as my macmimi displays it ok in safari browser.
I guess apple are similar to many appliance manufacturers in dictating to the market and consumers on their terms. Maybe thats why android is overtaking them.

Door lock faulty – replaced with recovered unit – also had a spare pushbutton unit – sorted.

Heating ok, ammeter shows approx 10 amps and washload is warm.
