“F2E – When water intake has not been completed within the overriding time control of 5 mins, the program is interrupted”

If the hot supply is intermittent this can knock the machine out – use a y-piece and put hot and cold hoses off the cold supply only. Normally though, if you get an F1E, F2E or F3E and the water supply is OK and filters are clean, I normally change out the heating level control switch – part nr 4441514.
    Cheers!

    Thanks nomad,
All check out ok. I did notice a lot of suds in the cabinet, rinse aid I suspect. Flushed through a few times and mopped out. Heating ok now – must ask customer if she spilled rinse aid in cabinet – that might explain tripping RCD’s.
    Regards,
    Conor! 😀

Re: Miele PW5065 Poor Spin Performance

    Thanks for the replies,
Checked out the fault memory on the machine and deleted it – don’t know how long they have been on machine – will call back this week to see what new faults if any have been logged. Faults logged were:
    F47 – BAE/SLT Interface Defective
    F39 – Vacant
    F11 – Water Drainage
    F16 – Foam/Excess Detergent
    F50 – Drive
    F15 – Water Intake Fault – Hot

What is a BAE/SLT Interface? and what does an F50 – Drive fault suggest?

    Thanks Paul,
Customer runs a riding school – saw lots of horse hair in drain standpipe and at end of drain hose. Sump and pump OK – will call back and check drain hose.

    Thanks Franz,
BER I’d say – I can’t vouch for the cabinet alignment.

PS Is this door lock mechanical or electronic in operation? I ask because when disassembled I couldn’t see anything mechanical in its operation.
