Trouble is, with the likes of Haier, Indesit et al. We’re all in fear of becoming a right bunch of Charlies 😆

Not on these. The top of the top hat 😕 is broken and thats where the screw goes throug h to hold the cabinet, if that makes sense.

    Re: DF04 side restraints

This customer has granite worktops, so instead of screwing into the worksurface they are using the side mounted restraints for holding the appliance into the cabinets. They look like inverted top hats about 3/4 the way up the side between the door seal and the door.

LCD t.v’s and trouser presses are the current favourite oddities at the moment. Once got asked the best way of tackling dog fleas 😯 as we live where a dog grooming business was once set up.
Fancy eh…..one week they service dogs from there, next week it was fixing Indesits. No difference really 😉

    Re: Trade pricing…!

Masterpart, Connect Distribution and Qualtex are the ones I use mainly but issues with all of them at some time or another. Sometimes direct to manufacturer, sometimes search the interweb for oddities, but ALWAYS compare prices, don’t just go for one first. TBH never considered parts centre because of issues raised on here years ago.

Its an easy machine, would it not save you hassle just to print the basics on an A4 sheet for her ‘cos like most she’ll only prob. use two programmes. IIR its only a 7 programme machine with a few basic options.

    Re: famous customers?

I remember doing a call years ago for the comedian Jim Tavare.
He’s the bald one with the double bass. Got chatting over a brew and he got to telling me he was on Des Oconnor later in the week and showed me one of the gags he was using.
Had a trap door in the back of the bass, put in a pair of his jeans, spun the bass a few times and took out a kids pair.
Apt considering I was fixing his HPT washer dryer.
Sure enough, the programme was showna few weeks later and he did the gag. 😆
