Cheers Jim, but its the bit the doofer screws into. 😉 The doofer that has the rubberised insert to the heater box sitting on top of it.

Spent about an hour today, after changing the heater on a Indespoint dishwasher, changing boards and messing about with a no start fault which I presumed the shorting heater had caused, to find that the board retainers were worn. After much jiggery and pokery managed to get the stupid little lamp indicator bars to line up again and the switch button to sit correctly the machine finally worked. On telling the customer of my woes she admitted ‘ Oh yeah, we really have to push the button in hard to get it to work at all :con: ‘
Charged accordingly!! 😉

ParticipantRe: creda condenser dryer
Had one of these recently where the fan was worn and spinning off axis causing vibration. This was pretty heavy and had caused the mica on the element sides to wear also, causing the element contacts to drop slightly and touch earth. Another fault causing this can be wet fluff build up around the element tags. clean off and it tests ok.

I bet he is blisfully unaware there were any legacies left behind. He probably thinks he done a good job in the old house, and could well be surprised if any problems came to light.
Unfortunately no!
When we went to view the house the bathroom had just been finished. There was no shower surround up, with the excuse ‘if its going to be a quick sale we wont bother with that’. The sale took six months because we were selling a semi commercial property and problems. When we got in there wasn’t even a shower curtain up and no marks on the wall where there had been one. First time we used the shower it rained downstairs 👿
Still not sorted that properly yet as the bath panel is mosaic tiled and the whole thing needs to come out to seal it properly. Handy stuff Ambersil sealant!!TC
