Would’ve thought a Hoover survey more apt.
There’s more banging in the kitchen when the front weight falls off than any other machine I know 😉TC

ParticipantRe: Neff butterfly oven elements
And while on the subject of Bosch elements what about the bl***y tumble dryer element from hell 496079. Six ordered from varying sources all duff. Low res to start with going to nothing under load. Lost two jobs through these buggers. 👿

I returned an answerphone message from a regular customer while at the hospital with the Mrs in labour. She told me not to hurry to the call as other things were more important. Got there a week later grateful that she’d waited, to find she’d bought my lad a pair of baby shoes and got us a card.
Ahhhhh!! 🙂TC

Why didn’t you set up a barrier or warn the woman to stay well back,
Er. Thats why she was at the other side of the kitchen she’d already been told what I was doing and that was the same reason I was inbetween her and the washer. I must admit I fell short of the Glastonbury fence but where do we draw the line. As the woman pushed past me to get to the machine I’m sure a toolbox isn’t going to be much of a deterrent to someone with a deathwish!!

ParticipantRe: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?
Friday nearly gave me a Corona. 🙂
Hotpoint BWM intedrated washer, doing the back feet balance with head underneath to check the brushes, she decides to give the side of it a clean. Swift exit from underneath and a bit of verbal and she STILL wants to clean it. ‘I couldn’t let you see it the state it was in’ :con:
The second one I’ve got the top off a Hoover W/D checking the fan/ valve operation with the customer at the other side of the kitchen watching. Next thing she pushes past me and sticks her hand inside saying I think its warming up :eeek: .
WTF!!!! She seemed a bit put out that i manhandled her swiftly away from the machine. After the possible consequences were explained she said Its ok, I was just curious. Funny, many a dead cat has muttered those words!TC

Flipping Nora or words to that effect.
Just been told by Dimplex that the old hinge kit for this oven isn’t available and that the replacement door comes with new hinges at £127 to me.
Nother lost customer methinks as they were already complaining about the oven.TC

ParticipantRe: Connect what a joke!
Just had a parcel delivered by DHL ordered onthe 4th. A few calls to Connect in the meantime (fobbed off to ring DHL myself on Monday who promised to phone bach but didn’t), the latest being today when I logged a complaint.
Just been called by Connect to see if it’s arrived, by someone with a long list of complaints about …..you guessed it. Looks like the penny may have dropped 😉TC
