Went to Preston Novotel to be amazed by the BRITE WHITE HALOGEN LIGHT trick and the ‘I stick my finger in the oily water and the oil don’t like it’ trick. It’s something new for the kids party, Detergo the kids entertainer!!! 😆 .
Seriously, you need to go to know what I’m on about and all will be revealed 😉 .
Another bit of invaluable information, and hopefully spreading the word to some lads who didn’t know about UKW (er… even if they don’t have a p.c.).

top loaders used to be a regular big repair…….until the price of the PUK went through the roof. Last quote I got (two years ago) was for about £300. 😥

When I worked for them we were advising customers that spares would be available for ten years, after production stopped on any model. I checked with them and they tell me they never had such a policy. I am sure that it used to be advertised in the sales brochures.

Yep that’s what I was told as well, seems they have had a lapse of memory since Merloni took over 😉

Never listened to 1FM since M&L left. 👿 Hate the amateur presenters.
Did get a chance to see the Family Mahone, Radcliffes band at the 12 bar in Preston. Cracking night out….one or two drinking songs to be had 😉
Got the worst deal ever when I leased the van so I still haven’t put a radio or anything in it. 😥

    That takes me back 😥

Had an old couple many years ago with a 100yr old chanille tablecloth.
Wrote off an old Philco w/d.
I was there for about an hour and a half flushing the damn thing through
until I got so peed off I gave up on it. 👿
It just seems to regenerate itself every time you put more water in.

    Re: web site

I used Frontpage as well. From the templates or design from scratch its dead easy, mostly like using Word or publisher for normal posters etc.
I signed up with http://www.supanet.com years ago and they give you a free website plus the usual email addresses etc, but their load up for the website is a doddle. Go to my webspace and as long as you’ve saved your site and all the images etc to one folder , you can browse your folder and upload it to the net. Easy Peasy 😀 .
They also have a step by step web builder which helps you create a simple page.

Then what I did to simplify the address, is buy adomain and hosting package (works out about £50 for a year) and just direct the domain host to your site on supanet. So when you write www. mywebspace.co.uk etc it will automatically show your supanet site.
