    Just been told by my local retailer that JTM are taking on the in warranty repairs on Fridgidaire and Fridgemaster. And they are already on the case for the Whitbread contract.

    Only proviso with Bosch is ‘sealed tubs’ 🙁 If you put sealed tubs in the search box you will get the gist :boops:

    Look at the following brands – Amica, Bosch & Gorenje all of which have middle of the road models that are reliable with a two year warranty at least. Dryers again look at Bosch & Gorenje with maybe White-Knight (Crosslee) if you want a cheap unit made in the UK but with easily acquired spare parts if it goes wrong – buy vented units rather than condenser if you can. Top end look at ISE appliances.

    Cata – We have agreement with Cata that all invoices that have not been submitted to ISDAL will be honoured by Cata. Contact details are above through Stuart Owen.
    Cata have already appointed another work provider but will not reveal who until tomorrow. 🙁

    The WTA have been in contact with Gorenje this morning – all outstanding inwarranty calls will be paid direct by Gorenje. Payment details to follow.

    The WTA on behalf of members affected by HI Group and ISDAL specifically entering into administration approached Liebherr early this morning regarding outstanding call payments and has received the following assurances from them.

    All outstanding in warranty calls will be paid directly to the engineering company subject to the following:-

      Engineering company must contact Liebherr on 08444 122655 or spares@coolectric.co.uk indicating the customer name and address and Liebherr will issue a new job number.

    Once the call is completed, engineering company submits their invoice to Liebherr.

    Having approved and collated these invoices Liebherr will pay the service company.

    The above process is available to both WTA members and non-members alike.

    Obviously, this is a difficult period whilst measures are put in place to allow the continuation of work that you may have in progress or reported and Liebherr are doing everything that they can to ensure that their customers and the service agents that have supported the brand are not adversely affected wherever possible.

    Liebherr have asked that agents please bear with them during this time and the WTA agreed to fully support Liebherr and other affected parties after the sad news regarding the HI Group.
