Hi Thanks for all your help you hit the nail on the head,it was in demo mode, unlike a audio system there was no indication on the display.This begs the question did the customer engage by accident which would be difficult or is the history of the microwave different from what they led me to believe.Once again thanks for your help it is appreciated.
Regards Dave.Hi My mistake you have the correct model,the pcb board is a new part and yes i have disconnected the supply to the transformer for safety.
The ribbon cable connecting the two boards is only three conductors two of which would be needed to power the facia pcb.Hi Yes checked door switches,the stirrer fan motor also uses the same supply as the transformer and thus does not work,there is a live supply but no neutral.
There is no neutral at the pcb,i was thinking it may be a fault with the facia pcb but it counts down and the blower motor starts up.If i sell a new machine i will take the old one away.The cover was to protect my van rather than the machine.Back in the day hoover had a padded four sided and top cover that you dropped over the top of said machine, unless anyone has a good way of protecting the bulkhead on a transit custom which is not a flat surface (new van)

Martin I had checked for component damage but there was nonthing visible, also the three lights above the selector knob flash in unison.Thanks Dave.

The wash pump is working and not making any strange noises.I have changed many Askol wash pumps on this range of machines.I have seen the machine wash and then i got a call saying there was a problem on rinse.

The pump does not make any noise,no does the machine,the door locks, but the door lock light flashes suggesting the door is open.There is no other lights flashing or alarm signals.Cheers Dave.
