Can you check the model number Kevin, it will have some letters before the 6844 bit 😉

Re: Beko frost free CA5411FFW – Fridge and freezer defrostin

It appears to be frost free but the fridge has a normal K59 thermostat so that would be the likely culprit I would think.

    A VT9 should go in there 🙂

It does have a PCB then. Possibles as above in that case, defrost heater, thermal fuse etc.

    Re: Creda S202PW S/Drier – pump

There’s two version of pump on this model (serial number required) although they both look very similar.

The old AEG drain pump with small inlet and outlet looks a likely replacement, it’s Masterpart’s AG5102 for a picture. I do hope they’re not still supplying GRE pumps though 😉

The error code would be displayed as L? on this model.

Defrost heater or thermostat failure I would think, possibly the PCB if it has one (no model number to check ;))

I would take the motor to a local repairer for testing to be honest 🙂

Check the pump again, it sounds like a button or coin is in there 😉

If not, it may be the pump itself as they can get noisy especially after being blocked.

Re: Hotpoint WM65 dead after overloading

Is it completely dead or just no drum rotation (ie fills and drains ok) ?

I fear a shorted motor may have blown the timer/control unit to be honest 🙁

    Power off when checking :zap:

Yep, please firstly don’t live test, it’s dangerous :zap:

Ask an engineer to call and test it properly for you. The repairs@ link below should provide one 🙂

Re: Indesit Dishwasher DG 6145 trip RCD during cycle

Possibly the heater then as the rinse cycle doesn’t use that 😉

Power off when checking please :zap: if you’re unsure, check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

Re: Hotpoint FF72 – Cooling Failure and tripping electrics!

I think it may possibly be the compressor itself failing when hot, but…

You’ll need an engineer for this one to be honest as the various components that may cause this need checking with a megger.

Check the repairs@ link below 🙂
