Quite why this door seal is so expensive is beyond me, £65 is the best I can do.

Email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if required 🙂

Pretty straightforward fit, with the power off of course :zap:

Re: DIPLOMATAPL 3301 BUILT IN FAN OVEN, WORTH REPAIR?

You’ve trapped or shorted a lead or knocked a terminal off I expect that’s shorting against the casing :zap:

If you’re unsure, click on the repairs@ link below for an engineer to sort out for you 🙂

Here’s the link to order and/or download:

The site’s down tonight though 🙁

Don’t forget, this cooker must only legally be installed by a Corgi registered engineer 😉

    Obsolete now I’m afraid 🙁

You can only get the hinge sockets now for these old Belling doors.

It’s generic for all machines manufactured by Merloni (AKA Servis in the UK) of that type, the part number is MFI’s 🙂

Re: Miele G646SC – stuck draining.

I’m not familiar with this model but it’s well worth checking to see if the base has got water in there causing the flood protection to kick in.

A simple drain off may resolve it hopefully, I’ve not heard any undue reports of the Fairy tabs causing overfoaming but it is possible 🙂

Re: Diplomat ADP8242 soap not dispensing

Presumably the lid is open whaen the cycle has completed ?

If it is, then the spray arms (or one of them) isn’t rotating correctly by the sound of it. Try setting the arms in a certain position, switch on wait for the water to circulate, switch off then open the door to see if they have moved.

Let us know the outcome of that 🙂

Re: Diplomat 610G Gas Oven problem

The thermostat has failed by the sound of it.

Your Mum will need to call a Corgi registered engineer to carry out the work. Quite a straightforward repair generally.

Check the repairs@ link below for one or if that fails, the Corgi website lists all registered engineers by postcode etc.

Re: Bosh SG43E08GB/45 not heating water – FIXED but gone aga

To be fair to the engineer, it sounds like he did try to find an underlying cause but it wasn’t apparent at the time, this happens with appliances on occasion.

As Penguin said, the work will almost certainly be guaranteed so a call to BSH Appliance Care should resolve the problem 😀
