    Re: how much?

You can generally just cap the existing hot tap off to prevent any possible drips and just use the cold tap to supply the machine.

As far as charges go, it will vary across the UK, most engineers will happily install a washing machine for you, check the repairs@ link below you can discuss charges directly that way before booking a call.

What a nighmare these things are to work on 🙁

The brush roll will move quite a bit with the handle dropped. Check the six or eight fixings (3 or 4 down each side) which hold the upper and lower body together, the studs shear off. That may be causing the vibration.

If the vibration is only there when the washing setting is on then it’s probably the pump.

Thanks for the offer but I’ve actually uninstalled it now, which gained me large part of one of my hard drives 😉

Orders are now placed with other companies wherever possible, so for their arrogant attitude of “you MUST use the web site” they are the only losers 😆

If you open the door it’s around there, normally on the door itself.

It should start with ADP, AHY or similar.

Probably the PCB, send it to EMW would be the best bet.

Check everything else first though, Indesit fault codes are notoriously unreliable 🙁

You would be better to remove the hose that feeds the pump/filter to be honest.

Put a torch inside the drum and see if you can see where it is then with a fine screwdriver position it over the top of the hose outlet.

Power off at all times please when attempting :zap:

It’ll be the thermal cut out unit more than likely, this thread explains it pretty much:

Check the tub seal for leaks on to the motor 😉

    That’s not unheard of.

    Re: LP Conversion to NG

It would appear not in that case, the 10565G is the NG version and cannot be converted to LPG so I would asssume that the same works in reverse.

It may be worth asking Merloni (Hotpoint, Indesit, Cannon etc) for a definite answer though:
