This one won’t disappoint either 🙁
Front off, drum out, pretty much a complete strip down I’m afraid.
Power off please (for the benefit of future readers) :zap:

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote “The Hokey Cokey” died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in, and then the trouble started.
Sorry

ParticipantRe: regulator or switch
I can’t find the switch listed with that number but it may well have been superseded.
Can you post the make and model of the oven/hob please.

You can download the manual from the sticky “lost your instruction manual” at the top of this forum.
The rest is down to the retailer to be honest, you can get the Brandt customer support details from the same website as the downloads for the manuals also.

ParticipantRe: creda tcr2
You have a different version that me then 😀
V2.1d is mine now I’ve checked which shows a date of June 2005, if you work for Merloni it probably gets updated automatically ?

ParticipantRe: creda tcr2
That’s interesting, that part number is recognised by Partfinder but only against Ariston, Indesit and Proline versions of the exact same dryer that sell for much less than the Hotpoint and Creda versions……

I don’t think Miele supply them but I’ll reply to your email for the same shortly with some suggestions.

Thanks.I think it may be best if you did to be honest, it sounds like there may be a small problem there.
The defrost cycles won’t have been effected by the compressor change though, that should happen normally two or three times a day.

ParticipantRe: ind wax120
If it’s the plastic outer tub type it doesn’t, the whole inner and outer is one part. Quite a few of the new Indesit and Aristom machines are being made like this.
Part number C00095889 at £111 ex VAT list so it will be scrapped no doubt. The age of the disposeable washing machine forced upon an unsuspecting public.
In fact I have a plan, why not get the sheds to take all the Merloni machines straight to landfill and cut out the middleman ❗

Type “Liebharr” in to the search facility, the contact details are here somewhere buried in the forums 😀

Any local DIY should have them, if you get stuck let me know I can send one to you.

ParticipantRe: Ariston model AF300SS
There is no PCB on this model so continuity testing the heater and thermostats is all that should be required to find the culprit.
With the power off of course 🙂
