Yes, left hand for powder and tablets, this is where the hot water inlet is directed and I think is the problem (as first reply).

Check the hot water pressure/flow to the machine 🙂

Just listening should normally be enough…

Water inlet > then the wash motor should kick in giving the normal “whooshing” noise dishwashers make.

Have you changed to a different tablet recently ?

Some dissolve much more efficiently than others 🙂

It may be worth checking the upper part again and give it a good scrub with an old toothbrush around all the small holes. Other than that, low water pressure on the hot side may be causing it.

First off can you check the make, I think you’ll find it’s a Hotpoint 😉

If it is, it’s more than likely the thermostats near the heater need replacing but we will need the serial number to identify as there are two types.

Power off please when checking :zap:

    Re: Diplomat ADP8322

It sounds as if no water is circulating so there’s either a blockage or the circulation motor may have failed.

Power off if checking yourself please or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

By the way, it should be connected to the cold water supply 😉

I’m pretty certain it’s a Stoves made cooker, if it is there should be an 05????? number on it somewhere around the door(s).

Yes there was from memory, the original chamber was attached directly to the sump and you have to hacksaw it off and fit the new chamber with a hose in between.

    Part numbers are:

4071341210 before Fnr 118 and after is 4071340980.

The hose (I’m not sure if it comes with the chamber) is 8996460683007

Which confirms Tony’s point, they are struggling to get coverage and have backlogged calls.

Sadly your mate will end up with customer complaints due to them being waiting for an engineer’s visit 🙁

I would ask that you encourage him to refuse to accept the reduced BER call fee as we all know that Servis UK pay the full sum to Gbdar for all calls whether they are BER or not 😉
