What’s the postcode there Mark please ?
Sorry I’m not familier with Barnsley codes and I’d hate to see you wreck your prize fruit trees for that branch 😆

Bit of an odd one machineman.
I would suspect two faulty pcb’s to be honest, send one to QER or EMW (in the links section) and see if they find anything wrong with it 😉

ParticipantRe: Indesit WE16 – noisy when spinning
I think you may find even calling Indesit to fit the parts may well end up in you having to pay for the drum which has clearly been damaged by a foreign object which shouldn’t have been there in the first place.
Customer misuse as this would be regarded is not covered under any sort of warranty normally, best bet is try your house insurance as suggested.

I would let the engineer you booked have a look to be honest, we can only assume one of the thermistors are at fault so purchasing one may be a wasted expense should it turn out to be something else.

ParticipantRe: Diplomat Select 610 Oven Door Seal
We’ll need the actual model number please Mike.
It should be around the door and begin APL or AHY or similar.

ParticipantRe: Hob covers/lids
Probably not to be honest, even if you could the lid would cost quite a bit no doubt.
A make and model of the existing hob may help though 😉

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Mistral Frost Free fridge freezer problem
The freezer should stay frozen if you leave the door closed, the fan mainly circulates to the fridge, it will have a small effect on the freezer temperatre as well though.
If it goes above -15 C and keeps rising then it may well be a good idea to remove the food and put it in a neighbours freezer if they have any space.

ParticipantRe: Candy F211x fan oven
From the diagram it looks as if the lamp cover glass turns to release, it will either unscrew or twist slightly to release. It will probably be quite tight though if it hasn’t been removed for some time so please use extreme caution as the glass may shatter if too much force is applied.
The fan element is behind the rear cover inside the oven, fairly straightforward really.

ParticipantRe: Liebherr fridge gone wrong
Possibly the thermostat as the supercool switch normally overides it.
Does the motor run at all with the supercool switched off ?

ParticipantRe: De Dietrich DOP340 BE11 built in single oven
There’s a limiter stat near the cooling fan, whether it’s a manual reset or not it doesn’t say though I’m afraid.
