    Re: smeg dwf64sse overfill

OK, the two left lights should be:

Furthest left on all the time, next one in flashing ?

If so, then it indicates an overfill problem as you have indicated.

This can only really be four things, a blockage, the pressure switch, the flow meter (if fitted) or the main pcb.

Any more than that, then you’ll need an engineer to call and check for you by the sounds of it.

    Part number is 1700440 washerdoctor.

£39.52 list price ex VAT, should be available from most of the usual wholesalers, if you get stuck, I can get it for you.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Ariston ALV95 Model # 46303610000

That model isn’t listed in the UK I’m afraid Steve.

Also I’m not aware of any UK models that use that type of error code, the only one’s I’m aware of have a numberic sequence to flashing neons or an actual fault code displayed in an LCD screen.

Is this appliance made by the same company (Merloni) as they are here I wonder ?

    Interesting…

Retra pay £47.50 directly and Samsung were paying £45 to D&G agents.

No mention of the half fee for BER products then ?

Are they skint or something ? 😀

It should be called “complete rip-off” 😆

Is this just a letter telling you about it or a demo disk ?

Getting one over on manufacturers is not what I meant at all Rob.

The manufacturers don’t want bad press any more than you want a faulty appliance, it costs them a fortune to put right 😉

Communication and dialogue is always the best policy in my experience, there are many more happy and satisfied Liebherr and Rowenta customers out there than unhappy one’s than we’ll never know about, purely because they don’t have a problem.

I hope you get my drift 😀

    Re: Indesit DI67

It could be that the main circulation motor has been damaged by the water in the base, or perhaps it was this that caused the leak in the first place.

I’d either call an engineer Archy or call it a day and replace it.

My thoughts are the latter to be honest with you as the main motor/pump will cost over £100 to replace if that is the problem, which it sounds like to me 🙁

For a proper diagnosis though, you will need that engineer out as I’m only making an educated assumption.

    Thanks Richard.

The calls to mobiles from a landline caught my eye 😀

I’m off to register and give it a whirl, although this is a service I’m not aware of until now it’s worth a look I think.

Yep, but no-one’s ever seen one as they are foamed in to the insulation, hence the Bosch mod of bypassing the fridge one, otherwise it would be a new fridge/freezer 😀
