Fairly straightforward, yes. We can’t really advise on exact fitting instructions for legal reasons, please ensure the appliance is disconnected from the mains power before attempting any repairs yourself though 😀

It sounds like it’s not draining properly to me, although I’m not completely up to speed on these models.
Someone will pick this up later no doubt who will know the machine better than I do.

Cleat, from the web links……

Click on “Launch the QuickFinder Application” put the Enr in, click “start search”.
Lots of blow ups will be there for you.

vodopivec wrote:What is a condensor pot
It’s a plastic container that you connect the hose to, fill it with cold water and the steam condenses in to it. Not the ideal solution, but they do work.
vodopivec wrote:and where can I get one or can I make one?
Here in the shop, click on the link below:

Some of the water may run down while in use, possible but not advisable.

F6 doesn’t appear to be a listed fault code for some reason.
What’s the dishwasher doing ?

ParticipantRe: Intsalling a vent system for a tumble dryer
I’d go with P45’s idea to be honest.
If you run the vent “uphill” to that extent, some of the steam will condense inside the hose and run back down and potentially damage the dryer (I’ve seen it happen, even with one vented with 2m hose to a high window).

I really don’t think anyone just turns up on the “off chance” Martin. Customers go out unexpectedly deciding it’s a nice day, can’t be bothered to wait, etc etc, it happens !
This is only a starting point, and as you rightly say, it’s a low percentage, so, surely it’s best to start with the easy option and take it from there (walking before running and all that ;))
The possibilities are endless to be honest.
I did have one other idea also, ID cards for engineers, and yes I know no-one likes them, but it will eventually become a must, if not a legal requirement at some point.

No problem.
Arist-off wrote:A small polystyrene float which actuates a switch !
That’s quite the norm for dishwasher flood protection.
Arist-off wrote:Is the idea behind this so that if your machine gets blocked or leaks, it cuts out to save further damage to the machine or dumping loads of water on your floor ?
Yes.
Arist-off wrote:Also is there some sort of pressure switch that( in the event of a
blockage )causes water to be discharged into the bottom of the machine
via the open-ended black hose attached to the pump??Dunno to be honest, I would imagine that’s it’s purpose though.

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTL6506GB/02 Drier
Toni, it’ll be a blockage between the pump and water tray.
I had the same one last year which was resolved here:

ParticipantRe: indesit wg1130t washing machine belt
Bearing failure, unless critical whereby they had collapsed completly wouldn’t cause the drum to spin at a slower rate normally, and I’m sure you’d notice the noise anyway.
It would seem to me that the belt is actually all that may be wrong and it is slipping. When the belt is reffited, how much free play is there? If I recall this is a stretch on belt and should be extremely tight.
Also, could you post the rest of the model up, as you say WG1130T isn’t enough, it’s either TG – TGT or TPG (I think 😕 ) and they all differ slightly. The full number is on the back 😉
Let me know and I’ll check more details for you.

ParticipantRe: Whirlopool ADP5966
F8 is a water level problem, you could check your own plumbing arrangements like the inlet hose and waste hose for kinks etc.
It could also be excess foam caused by incorrect detergents and/or rinse aid spillage. Anyone tipped rinse aid in by mistake or put washing up liquid in ?
Also check the filters, especially the micro filter.
Apart from that, it’s engineer time. Someone here should be able to help, if you let us know your postcode.

ParticipantgUESTING wrote:Does the pressure switch act as the sensor to determine the water level within the drum?
Basically, yes.
gUESTING wrote:However not all of the contacts on the pressure switch appear to change state (normally open/normally closed) when a small amount of air pressure is applied.
That may well be the problem then.

Is this appliance under guarantee/extended warranty then ?
Otherwise you will need to just buy the spares yourself, Caremark won’t buy them from me as they can order direct from the manufacturer, in this case Brandt.
