That’s a Whirlpool made dishwasher.
F3 means there is a water heating defect, which could be casued by several different things.
Time to call an engineer to be honest. Take a look in the directories section, there are a few repairers details there or if you pop your postcode here, someone in your area should be able to assist further.

rob marshall wrote:The reasons for me posting is whether what I am thinking of would cover what the public & trade would liek to see in a whitegoods show??
I think it would be an excellent idea 😀
The only thing in general the public see regarding the white goods trade are consumer programmes which only portray the negative side when something goes wrong.
To show a more rounded view with input from all angles would be very interesting to be involved with.

samson wrote:does anyone know where i can download the manual from
There isn’t a download site as far as I know. Merloni, who own the Ariston brand choose not to make them available for download unlike most other manufacturers.

Cornwell40, details for the parts:
Drum Bearing Kit – any generic Merloni kit will do ie BRG4646 from Connect or bin number 015775 from Washvac.
Drum inner complete – 720090100 £37.49
Drum spider – 236000400 £8.91 (means drilling off and rebolting)
Tub gasket – 402011900 £4.49
The part numbers will also be the same as the Servis one’s but more expensive by a long way, the prices are trade from MFI.

ParticipantRe: Ariston Margherita 2000!
Vicky, try this:
Turn the washer off, then turn the dial to any black dot. Now turn the washer on and you should see the power indicator light flash 3 times. On the third flash turn washer off again and select a wash programme. Turn the washer on again and after a couple of seconds the machine should start.
That’s the whole reset procedure, if that doesn’t work there is something else wrong and you will probably need an engineer to call, you can try the directory on the left or let us know the first part of your postcode, someone here may be able to help further with a visit.

Hi, yes the filter should come right out for cleaning purposes.
It’s very likely that something has become jammed in there and will almost certainly be the cause of the control knob rotating and not draining.
If you “wiggle” the filter around a bit it should eventually come out and reveal what ever got stuck in there in the first place.
If you do have to break the filter they aren’t too expensive from memory, although I would need the full model number to confirm.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantRe: Blomberg Fridge/freezer
Could you supply the model number please, it sounds as though it’s a twin compressor unit as the fridge is still working.
Blomberg is the brand name owned by Comet and will be manufactured for them and badged with the Blomberg name but in general all refrigeration products are pretty similar.
I checked our directory here, and no-one presently is listed covering the BH postcodes, although someone viewing these forums probaly do.
So, model number and your postcode (only the 1st part BH??) should help get things moving for you.

ParticipantPenguin45 wrote: Mr Conway will be able to advise you as to to cost for a 3 lug twist fit Askoll type pump.
The genuine Bosch pump is 483054 £41.32 inc VAT and postage, I’m not sure if one of the “universal” multiple lug twist fit askoll will fit (perhaps someone could advice), if it will, they can be supplied at around the £20 mark.

ParticipantRe: Servis M9409W door interlock
I haven’t got any of those to be honest.
Part number is 530000106 from Connect, although Washvac don’t recognise this, their bin number is 031804 (no picture though to confirm).
I can order from Connect if you like, they’re £7.50 each from there.
