    Re: Ariston Margherita AWD12

The 3 flashes you describe means you are probably half way through the reset procedure.

Turn the washer off, then turn the dial to any black dot. Now turn the washer on and you should see the power indicator light flash 3 times. On the third flash turn washer off again and select a wash programme. Turn the washer on again and after a couple of seconds the machine should start.

That’s the whole reset procedure, if that doesn’t work there is something else wrong.

    Re: Known Error Codes

Samsung washing machines models P1005, P1405 and B1415. All codes are the same across the models

E1-Water Supply – not filling in allocated time – Check water supply
E2-Water Drain – Reduced water level detected – Check pump for blockage.
E3-Overflow – Water level abnormally high -Blocked pressure system
    E4-Unbalanced load – Rearranged load – Remove/rearrange clothing
E5-Water heating – Water temp rising/falling too quickly – check thermistor
E6-Water heating – Water temp rising/falling too quickly – check thermistor
E7-Pressure switch – Abnormal water frequency. Pump may drain for up to 3 minutes – Check pressure system
E8-Abnormal water temperature – Temp too high on low temp washes – Check thermistor
E9-Water leak – Water level has reduced – Suspect leak on machine
EA-Tacho – No tacho signal – Check taco circuit
EB-Motor Triac Short – Tacho circuit – Replace motor
EC-Thermistor – Thermistor circuit – Replace or repair wiring
    ED-Door open – Close door

All error codes can be cleared by powering down the machine

Thanks to SparkyP for this info 😉

Re: Whirlpool ADP5966 Dishwasher Start Light Flashing

It may have flooded the base and activated the flood protection switch.

If you pull the machine forward the tip it slightly see if any water runs out, if it does, try and let it all run out and then leave to dry for a couple of days.

Let us know how you get on.

    Re: Blomberg 1515AAA manual

If it came without a manual you should be able to get one free from them. Blomberg is a brand name used only by Comet so it’s specific to them.

You could try filling in the request form on their website here:

    https://comet.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/come … er/ask.php

Or give them a ring from the contact details on there.

No reference to that model here I’m afraid.

If bassman’s suggestion draws a blank, you should be able to get them direct from Liesure (now Rangemaster). Phone number 0870 7895106.

It could be a number of things to be honest.

Carbom brushes worn, motor failure, module.

I would suggest an engineer, you could ask here with your postcode or check the directory on the main menu.

Could you check the rating plate for the GC (gas council) number please.

There’s quite a few versions of these, although as you say, a number of years old and very possibly obsolete.

    Re: Diplomat dishwasher

It’s made for MFI. There’s a link to the main MFI site in the links section here :

    http://www.mfi.co.uk/mfi/Content/ContactUs.asp

Although none of the numbers there have a direct contact to the spares department the customer service number should get you through.

I’d give you the direct number but it I have it at the office, someone may know it though.

Does the drum turn at all during the wash cycle ?

Or is it just the spin that is the problem ?
