ParticipantRe: Shelf Supports for Hygena double gas oven
Hygena/Diplomat/MFI buy various appliances from various manufacturers inc Stoves, Glemgas, Merloni, Haier, Smeg and a few others, they do also make some products themselves I believe.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint 9555P – fault code EE – help !!
A bit odd that as error code EE does not exist for washing machines, it’s a refrigeration error code.
Unless of course part of the display (led) has been damaged and the code isn’t displayed properly.
To help make a decision. the control module (on the side) is now obsolete, as are a few of the spares for this model, although a reconditioned replacement should be available, it may also be the power module at the bottom, hard to tell really, but given that the error code is created by the control module, I would guess the problem lies there.
Please ensure the appliance is unplugged from the wall socket before making any tests etc.
Regards.

ParticipantRe: miele oven window glass broken
Sorry for the long wait for a reply, the Miele software I have is running very slowly ATM 🙁
Anyway, all three models have a completely different doors, so the glass is not interchangeable unfortunatly.
One thing I did note though, there are what appears to be two “inner” glass panels, the one described as “clean glass” looks as though it is seperate from the door, the other one is the “interior glass” which is attached to the door and is basically the inner window.
The latter is substancially cheaper than the one you describe (yes the price they quoted is correct), may be worth confirming the difference with them.
Hope that helps a bit, definitely try the insurance approach though as suggested.

S’ok I used the Stoves 059 number.
There are two listed for the main oven for some reason although they both appear to be identical and are the roughly the same price (about £8 each)
Part number is 081826101 or 081754802
If you phone Stoves on 015 143 27838 and quote both of those they may be able to explain the difference.

Will do, I’ll contact you when they arrive here.
kwatt wrote:Is it me or does there seem a very suspicious and very large price difference in those hinges?
Very much so, especially as they all buy them from the same place – Merloni.

The number is 0845 7959722. I dunno whether they’ll sell them at that price to non-account holders though. See what they say and let me know if you want me to order them for you. They also charge £4 ish per order.

ParticipantRe: Belt for Bosch washing machine WFL 2000
Luckily there’s only GB version of this model. The part number is 360829 available from most suppliers.
Failing that, check the links, BSH Appliance Care are there somewhere they are the main Bosch spares agent.

ParticipantRe: Liebherr 2840 fridge
I can tell you that this unit is not electronically controlled so it may well be just be a thermostat failure which shouldn’t prove too costly or problematic.
If you need further help, you can pop your postcode here and one of the guys should cover your area.
