On that note, it’s aout time CDSL had their own thread, the combined one with NESN is rather obsolete now considering they have parted company.

The other thread has primarily been NESN related anyway and can continue as such, also we haven’t heard much about Coverplan for a while, so a new thread it is 🙂

No, I paid duty, which is the reason I only just got it. It’s been stuck in the main PO here for a couple of weeks as they wouldn’t deliver without payment 1st and I haven’t had time to collect it until yesterday.

    Re: SMEG Repairs

Are you certain that it is an appointed Smeg service agent, appointed by the national agent Servevast you are having problems with ?

As far as I am aware, Smeg service is held in very high regard and there are very few issues.

What are the problems you are having ?

Is it LG’s decision though ? Or have ISDAL got fed up with constant money chasing, parts returns and rejected invoices.

If you haven’t already sorted this out, could you supply the full model number, it should be AHY??? or similar. It will help identify which timer type is in the cooker.

So do I, and to make matters worse that model isn’t on there 🙁

But I found it on Agora, the part number 79X6341 price from Brandt is £13.45 ex vat trade or the cheaper option is get it from MFI at £8.81 ex vat.

Hi, there will be other lights lit as well as the flashing one, if you can let us know which one(s) it will be helpful.

That’s the one, same as MFI AHY8101 etc.

The nefarious thing with the strings that snap and the jubilee clip look-alike type door balance adjustment.

    Re: stoves/belling dishwashers-door popping open

Yes but only on an integrated one.

The door balance system was poorly set up by the installer 😕

    No surprises there then 😉
