Me too Alex, and I’ve not recieved anything either.

My guess is they will accept invoices from either ourselves directly or CDSL, they seemed quite happy to do this when passing work to ISDAL.

I can’t see LGE giving CDSL exclusivity, when I was asked by them last year to work directly, they seemed to want to go down the route of direct agents rather than WP’s. Evidently with the bad press of late, either no-one wants to work for them directly or CDSL have offered them something they quite like 😉

    Re: Shop@ Boardroom Discussion

I had a good idea today, as and when people (public) ask about spares in the forums, rather than just give them the info, we can add the product to the shop quite quickly then give them the direct url to the product.

Hopefully they will then buy it straight away while they are still on the site, they will inevitably return to see the reply when they recieve a reply notification anyway 😀

So, when the shop goes live, we can try and encourage the guys that help with spares info to do this and pass the info back to site admin before posting a reply.

Would someone who deals with a Qualtex distributer see how quickly two sets can be obtained please.

    You could try this:

13Amp wrote:Just a thought here for you to try. First set machine knob not onto a programme but on the black dot. Push and hold the start button for 3 seconds and release. Put in on to a rinse and spin cyle and let me know the turn of events OK?

    Resetting the pcb/eeprom sometimes works.

We’ll be having these in fairly soon I expect, so when we do I’ll be whipping the top and rear covers off one to have a look.

I’ll post up my findings 😉

April rather puts my last post here to shame, last month saw the busiest everything.

    😥

They’ve been selling “browns” for ages locally in store, as do most of the national supermarkets now.

I wonder if they are buying out the guarantees and who will cover the servicing if so, it may open an evenue we can explore 😉

Not a “machine” as such, but dear God, what a pile of dung they are.

Oh how I laughed when I read this 😆

We have an ongoing WFT1031 at the moment, currently on order is the third PCB as the first two are faulty.

Order a PCB, but don’t expect it to work 😉

Re: Blomberg 1301 Washer intermittently blows main fuse

Try running the machine through a cycle with the motor plug disconnected, although the intermittency will be the main problem here I think.

Also check for chaffed leads in the loom as one could have the insulation rubbed away and only touching “earth” occassionaly.

    Re: Bernstein!

The best thing to do is ignore it 😉

Use the disk to look up the part number and order it somewhere else, which is exactly what I have been doing. Virtualy all the appliances on this contract are Brandt or Antonio Merloni (Servis) made anyway so it’s easy enough to get spares elswhere.

I have been quoted approximately 6 weeks wait for spares at the moment, I don’t think many in guarantee customers, let alone chargeable one’s will wear that.

It was agreed with EAC from the outset that using your own van stock etc was not an issue, so that’s what I will be using untill the supply of spares is sorted out.
