    Re: Shop@ Boardroom Discussion

    Yes agreed.

10 products per user should be more than enough, when they sell an item, another can be added etc seems fair.

It’s a shame that users can’t add their own products, but that would mean giving everyone admin rights to the shop which would not be a good idea 😉

Ask Ken about the reason why Zanussi bolts are facing forward, he did tell me once, it’s to do with production costs, but I can’t remember the exact figures/reasons now 😕

No, that seems fair enough to me.

As we said at the meeting, those that put in will be those that get back 🙂

No, I haven’t yet TBH, I was rather tied up this weekend with something 🙁

Anyway Sean, the email address to contact the hotel about meetings is:

    Telephone number 01707 265 411

There’s also a floor plan document available for download here:

Armatures normally but it’s pretty obvious when they go, raised segment is the normal one, or a dead short across it.

    Re: Hoover AC120 spinning constantly

PITA these Candy clones, motors are failing at an alarming rate and taking out the timers.

But if the motor appears to be Ok, then maybe the flash was caused by spillage on to the motor or pump from the drum spinning full of water ?

Re: Diplomat Dishwasher ADP8224 Programmer fault

That is almost certainly the control PCB a fault.

They are £152.15 inc VAT from MFI. Plus about £5 postage.

I don’t think this particular PCB can be repaired sadly 🙁

If you need one, let me know, I can order one for you.

Bit of a dilemna this one isn’t it ?

If the customer is unaware of their parts warranty from a manufacturer, do you tell them or just carry on with the job and charge them accordingly ?

Machineman, which operating system are you using ?

Before you install anything I would seriously consider upgrading all of the pc’s to be connected to Windows XP Pro. Earlier systems are a PITA to configure, XP Pro generally “just works” as it has all the latest drivers installed.

    Wizard,

According to Smeg’s fault code list, two lights on the left on all the time and the one on the right flashing means no heat.

I would imagine that when the motor cap failed no water circulation has caused an overheat thermostat to trip.

Re: Hygena Integrated Dishwasher APL 8224 – Leak!

A classic with these is a damaged or blocked lower spray arm. Check for blockages in it first, otherwise it may well be split along one of the seems.

Water being directed in one direction constantly is the reason for the leak.

    Hopefully it’s just that anyway.
