    Re: whirlpool ADG7540/1

I wonder if one of the Whirlpool service patners would be good enough to post up the error codes for some of the Whirlpool machines in the trade technical forum under “known error codes”.

Or send them to me and I’ll do it.

    Ta.

    Re: Indesit WE12

    Hi,

F12 is a communication error between the PCB’s.

F16 isn’t listed so it’s not a fault code, unless there’s one that Indesit haven’t mentioned yet.

Sounds like you need an engineer.

I forgot to mention, that’s the top left or lower right hinge, the opposite one is part number SER246009800.

    Penguin,

    Have you got Connections ?

If you have, have a look at SER246009700.

I also found a picture of it here 😀

    http://www.rei-components.com/commerce/ … dotto=1689

That’s a fairly common b/i refrigeration hinge, many manufacturers use it including Servis, Hotpoint, MFI, Whirlppol etc.

    Re: Diplomat ADP8322 Dishwasher Problem

If it’s a brand new dishwasher and a new installation, it will almost certainly be an installation problem.

Check that the water is turned on and that the hose hasn’t been kinked when pushing the dishwasher back, also check the waste hose, 1st for kinks and then where it joins to the sink trap, make sure that the spiggot has a hole in it as they come sealed when new and you have to cut the end off with a hacksaw or similar.

    Try these things 1st.

    Re: Smeg DWF 64SSE Dishwasher

If the dishwasher is less than 12 months old I would stick a new PCB in it TBH, it’s more likely the fault lies there than anywhere else.

All the other components are checked for faults by the PCB anyway to a certain extent and would give a “real” error code.

Re: Which Spares Supplier(Wholesaler) is best ?

Just a small point, under new legislation some years ago to try and stamp out retail price fixing, there is no such thing as R.R.P. It is now called S.S.P. (suggested selling price). As the name suggests, it’s a suggested price only and just a guidline.

I just use the cost price and add my normal mark up accordingly. So working on that principal cost price matters, sometimes between getting or losing a job because the wholesaler/manufacturer is charging to much in the first place.

Even to get a job and reduce the mark up {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is effecting my overall profit, so I shop around 😉

It’s OK I found it by the 059 number, it’s made by Stoves.

The thermostat is £51.26 inc VAT and postage.

If you need one ordered, just send me an email and I’ll sort it out for you.

Please bear in mind this is a gas cooker and the part must be fitted by a Corgi registered engineer.
