ParticipantRe: ATLANT 6040
Sorry John, no idea, I picked up those details from the web. The number does appear to be a dead line though 😥
I can’t find anymore info than that I’m afraid, what part do you need ?

ParticipantRe: Contract Law
Someone came up with an excellent idea today. 😀
It has been suggested that perhaps a universal sub contract could be drawn up that would cover the agents which could be presented to work providers. This may be tied in with the proposal of a UKW slush fund to protect members as it would have to be funded in some way.
If anyone has any thoughts on this please let us know as it will be a topic for discussion at the forthcoming UKW meeeting in February.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool automatic part no
The other way to tell, if the model number is still apparent anywhere is the 857032515000 is model AWM325 and the later version 857032515010 is AWM325/3.
May I also ask Bonzo why you need those parts, if the timer knob is spinning freely and not engaging with the timer (very common fault) it is a small part behind the timer knob part number 481241318198, which is the same for virtually all the AWM range.
I may be assuming incorrectly of course though. If all else fails, post me the timer knob (if not missing) and I’ll see if I have anything among the vast collection of Whirlpool odds and sods I have here.

ParticipantRe: I got a contract!
Yes, now that makes more sense, as Alex says, if it works for you, the best of luck with it.
I’m still intrigued as to who it is though, but I respect you’re confidentiality.

ParticipantRe: LMAO!
No I wasn’t taking the piss either, well only out of JT and his henchmen. Beleve me I have every sympathy for any agent that is caught up in all this. I am still not out of the woods yet, having only just gone passed the three month notice period, but I had an email last week threatening me with the termination clause and that NESN withold the right to use it, even though I KNOW they are or were in breach of contract, which they will not openely admit too.
Anyway, if I was still there I would get out now, the writing has been on the wall for many months, it may be too late if anyone leaves it too much longer. Better to loose a load of calls now than to loose the whole business was my take on it when I decided to terminate, and I’m glad I did TBH.

Martin wrote:Can anyone out there help….I will cut you in on the profit….honest
Martin, I will email Merloni today to ask if they supply manuals for this range of Indesit washers, I checked the Merloni/GDA DVD and they don’t list them, even though most of the Hotpoint models have service manuals listed on there 😕
I’ll post back here any reply(ies)
I don’t want any of you’re profit though, maybe a pint at the UKW meet 😉

johnmac11 wrote:I have contacted Hotpoint who are going to supply me with the disk but they say that I have to fill in an application form first, seems a bit long winded but hey!!.
That’s for the license agreement, they all do this, it’s to stop any copyright infringement and you need to enable it after installation with a quick online connection to Merloni.
johnmac11 wrote:I have not bought parts from Hotpoint for about 10 years and wonder if they give any discount to non account holders?
Not sure on that one, but I think so as long as you can confirm you are in the trade you should get some discount.
johnmac11 wrote:I see from their website that you need to spend 5k a year on parts to open an account, do Hotpoint adhere to this policy or will they let me open an account.
They will let you open an account, and no I doubt very much once opened it will be checked for turnover. I always tell the manufaturers that my expected turnover is unknown when trying to open an account, but it will be higher than the minimum expected 😉
