ParticipantRe: Stoves Q600 Dw errors
Smeg error codes lucky you !! 😉
E1 Is water in the base, anti-flood device activated
E2 Is Overfilling.
Both are normally caused by the air break unit. There is a kit available for these to rectify the problem. The part number is KIT22LTEC which now supersedes to 900992 (Smeg part numbers).
From experience this does not always solve the problem, but generally this should do the trick.
Hope this helps.

Did anyone happen to print this thread off by any chance ?
When the site went belly up a few weeks ago it seems that any new posts after the one on Nov 6th have dissapeared (this thread only ) 😥
Unless Ken has a back up copy of individual threads 😉

Hence my post in the nd forum, you have my support and none of the critisism is aimed at any of the council members who are privy to twr 😀

ParticipantRe: Spare parts website recommendations please
It is a rip off, and no-one has got them in stock (big seller 😉 ) Hence the reason Ken is sending me one, I can’t get one anywhere from any of the wholesalers.

ParticipantRe: Most ridiculous part price
Smeg built in stainless double oven, the trim that goes around the outside of the whole frame, £81.66 inc VAT.
A little excessive I think

“the newly elected whitegoods industry spokesperson”
He also told me in confidence that under new government guidlines, you will not be able to buy a new washing machine for less than £350 as of 1st Jan 2004 😯
If only 😉

kwatt wrote:Ah, it is on the hard copy tho, so why not on the web one? Different documents
No idea, but that needs to be addressed and quickly, as does the whole DASA site, the document Ken is quoting from is circa 1997 I think, whereas the hard documant I have of the Quality Criteria is a completely different thing. Misleading to say the least.

Connect are the “Mother Company” of Willowvale and Electrue as well as a few others. Sorry, I know everyone refers to them differently.

sumphose wrote:Well done dave, can you now explain how the other three timers all stamped on them, part number 04750236, which is also stamped on the original faulty part
NO!! 😆
I just rang GIAS and that is the part number they gave me, which is different than the other 3 you had. As mentioned, Candy/Hoover are not quite the most consistent with part numbers.
Dave.
Well South of You. 😆
