Re: new software for service/stock/data management

    Hi all,

We`ve been using the servicemanager system and its 2 predecessors for years (our records go back to 1996!).
The current system is infinately adjustable to your needs.
How many times does a customer phone up to say the appliance you fixed 4 months ago has gone faulty again, the records say it was 18months ago! if you do work for letting agents or other contracts that require invoicing, how easy is it to forget to send an invoice, this system allows you to check within seconds if you have invoiced all jobs to that client and wether they have paid.
Job history, invoicing, ability to record photos & specific information against machine details, client & home details recorded so when invoice produced it automatically prints invoice address and job address seperately. It is a really great program that will help your business. It has been developed over the last 16 years and is still being adapted as customers ask for tweaks & improvements.
It sounds expensive at first, there is a learning curve and the task of inputing the data is daunting, but use it every day and the database becomes so useful for analysing your profitability, mailshots etc is incredible.
I am one happy user of this system and Pauls ability to listen and upgrade the system to meet my requirements.
So if you are thinking of it give them a call.

    Sales pitch over!!!!!!!

Yep new company registered on 11/11/2010
registered office is 145-157 St John Street London. which is same as a firm of accountants that specialise in the formation of new companies.

Hopefully, the new company will do all that AWI did!!!

New machine looks good, but have they done away with the drop down door?
I used it as a USP (unique selling point) in that it gave a resting place when loading & unloading the laundry?

    Thanks Martin

I had considered that option but we still have to find out what the original fault is!!! so I was hoping not spend money in case its a BER repair.

still I can put the ball in the customers court.

    thanks martin

check the divertor valve (solenoid mounted on the wash pump) it can stick & only supply water to 1 of spray arms.

    good luck

    I agree petalpop,
We do need to know whether the spec is roughly the same as the 1606. or radically different.
Any chance of a heads up regarding differences (or similarities) between the old & the new?

    Re: Bosch NKT782DEU/01 regulator

do you know if the orginal energy regulator was an EGO if so have you got the original number of it???
Homespares are a stockist of EGO & can you usually cross reference the numbers.
If the replacement does not have S1 & S2 I cant see how it can be used unless it was only switching an additional live or neutral & this switch is not really needed.
I had one recently that was switching neutral (cant remeber which terminals it was using) but they were not on the replacement so i joined those 2 wires & the hob element worked perfectly, but only after I had spent 30 mins working out what was what with the damned thing.
