    Re: Candy CIC60 No heat

the thermal fuse if fitted will be about 3 mil in diameter and a centimeter long with wires built into it extending outwards which are then clamped onto the wiring harness as you look at the machine from the backj it will sit on the left hand side if he has tested the thing on top then that is the thermostat and rarely cause a problem on this appliance

i think the wires that come out of it disapear straight away through two holes either end of the fuse they are clamped on
let me know how u get on

Re: Washing Machines v’s Laminate Flooring

now what would be good is an extension piece to place in front of the machine as you pull it out to protect from scratches

    Re: Candy CIC60 No heat

    unplug before checking
nearly every time it is the thermal fuse on these machines he should disconnect the fuse from the wiring harness to make sure it is not just reading right round the dryer, then test it through for continuity
    hope this helps

lol, sorry mate, punctuation and grammer have never been one of my strong points, especially while typing very fast to get my point across.

Re: hotpoint aquarius CTD00 condensor dryer

i once went out to a hoover tc dryer that had been on fire
turned out that the hoteliers staff had taken soaking towels out of the none spinning broken washer and put straight in to dry
my theory is that the weight of the water was enough to stop machine turning while the cold water prevented the themostats cutting off allowing the top towels to bake dry before finally igniting
the things people do when its not there machine
incidently same hotel i have taken out of there washer
    darts
    3 rubber gloves
    a spoon
    half a biro
    some clingfilm
    rawl plugs
    countless coins
    some screws
but at my call out + vat every time thats fine with me 😀

    back to the toolbox cat
i once went to a house and the owner had a litter of kittens ready to go my other half was in van outside waiting for me while i was in te lady was asking do you have any pets do you know anyone that wants a cat and i did but my other half didnt (we had spoke one the matter some weeks before) and as i turned to pack away my things there was a little kitten in my toolbox making a sort of meow face without the noise awwwww just had to keep it took it to van put it on her lap and drove home she was mad but would not seperate by the time she got home
so far have had twelve months of scratched wallpaper think its too late to take it back lol

Re: Washing Machines v’s Laminate Flooring

just to add to this the amount of machines i go to where the laminate is added after the work surface thereby raising the floor level and it is only ever laminated up to the front of the machine meaning that to remove the machine from the gapy you either have to remove the worktop or the flooring either way i always leae andtell the customer i am here to repair a washer not a kitchen fitter

but i have to add i prefer laminate over tearable or spongy lino 😕
