put a small flat screwdriver in the hole where the hinge is and the whole door should seperate along the seam to my mind there is a version with 4 screws by the hinge and one with a further two by the pin othose last two may be a figment of my imagination but it should just pull apart no hidden latches no chinese puzzles

if it s fillinf overnight most likely is one of the inlet valves
best way to find out is turn the cold off and leave the hot on one night then alternate the next i usually find it is the hot and is just junk out of the pipes never heard of being able to clean one just replace itRe: Hotpoint, wm53 motor to fast
did you check the wire between the two if it is burnt and you have jiggled it it may be making contact again and develop same fault in a wash or two

right floks further inspection revealed a piece of plastic in the pump so i am assuming that as the machine tryed to drain it realised that the pump was not running i removed the plastic and the machine works but…
i need to tap the pump housing as the pump has been damaged so can someone(dave) advise me as to a price for the pump on this appliance and can i get it through yourselves?Re: tight customers
so to sum up if i say that repair x will cost y and i do repair x then they have to pay me y
but if i do repair x then afterwards i say it will cost you y and they dont find it agreeabvle i have to prove that the price is reasonable and if it is not then they will pay an average of local prices
this is ok to me as i always quote first
the ones that get me though are the ones who agree to the quote but had no intention of paying me anyway just wanted someone to come out and unblock pump or whatever then invite cousin melvin into the room who is 7 ft tall and built like a brick poohouse to say i wont get paidRe: tight customers

right wma m if it has SUDDENLY become noisy it could be one of the little white pins holding the shockers on the bottom that has wobbled out and just needs snapping back into place
normally though these machines get slightly noisier gradually meaning that the bearings have gone big job contact an engineer theres a link here somewhereRe: hotpoint wf something

right folkjs just to update on the indesit after several more attempts on friday and some thought over the weekend i came into work this morning through the buggar out kicked it several times and rang my scrappy to take it away
