    Re: Ariston Margherita A1435

you will notice it takes far less water than older machines
perhaps we should have a fact sheet or printable page to hand out to customers about the modern wash process cold fill only less water etc
i am sick of explaining it to people biggest problem is no one believes me and i usually get the comment of well i have had a washer for 20 years and it was not like this before i want one that takes more water and szo it continues

you can only bang your head against a brick wall for so long till it falls down

btw is the ariston working properly now ?

    Re: tricity cooker

couldnt say just an old 80’s sorta style box and when he has all the hob grill and oven on it just flicks down the lever marked cooker

little update as well guy has just rung and told me that his cooker switch in the kitchen on his wall no longer has a red light on it so the cooker is totally dead
i told him to wait for the sparky to come and check his box out as i now think it is definatly that
i just want to make sure i am not missing anything and that i am armed with all the relevant info

btw what is the difference between and rcd and an rcbo?
i never heard rcbo b4 or am i being dense: 😳

    Re: indesit WD12

i think the fault is its an indesit
but that aside does it flash too fast to count all the way through the cycle? and does itactually heat etc
i would say p switch or most likely mod fault
but aint come across it b4

    Re: Ariston Margherita A1435

is it taking hot water and when it sticks is it
    full
    partially full
    not agitating
    seeming to fill forever
and also how long has it been left after cycle was started

    Re: Hoover AM110

i have had this fault many times and have changed thermisors to no avail
every time the only cure is main pcb board
i would love to know what was actually wrong with the board so i could repair but cannot seem to find fault with it
all i know is to make it heat again change board

good luck on the bearings but take extreme care not to damage the shaft when taking it out and pushing back in a hammer in the wrong place can ruin it

    Re: 3/8″ torx 40

i find that on the indesit i used to break cheap and expensive torx bits alike while using a ratchett have now started using air gun on it and am using a torx piece from one of those electric screwdriver 100 pieces whatnot for 20 quid cheap as you like done loads not bent any 🙂
