Hi Tim,
Check motor connections and the short harness plugs (from motor to inverter board ) are fully pushed home.

Might It be an idea to dedicate a couple of hours of the November meeting, to invite MFI Newco and affected independent agents to an arbitration session to try and negociate a way forward.
Wether or not this would be sucessful is any ones guess but it would at least show that the WTA is ready able and willing to support fellow trade members in these troubled times wether they are members of the WTA yet or not.
If we managed to pull a reasonably viable rabbitt out of the hat on this, then the kudos for the WTA would be tremendous and the single biggest recruitment campaign imaginable.
Even if we did not suceed in finding a mutually agreeable plan. at least we would have demonstrated that we at least tried, which is far more than others will do.
Thoughts Gentlemen

Hi Don,
The ISE 5 Dishwasher is strictly a domestic dishwasher and carries no commercial guarantee what so ever.

Hi,
As Steve says out of balance, or partially blocked filter would be the first things to check.

I was hoping with our friend Mr Moat out of the frame and his cronies @ GBdar that things would show an improvement under the new set up, obviously not.

Thing is Lads I have a workshop full of half robbed machines stacked two and even three machines high, as I am in the middle of trying to build a robust stock and ordering system for all the parts we need to support you guys in the field.
It was always my intention to have a row of returned case damaged, test bed machines to fit some of the returned faulty parts too, to try and come up with some answers to some of the faults that the Guy’s were finding in the field.
That was a pretty easy exercise whilst we had only one model of appliance. The problem was, that in the early days with the original ISE5, if the lads had a problem no matter what it was, they would automatically order a PCB. Yet when I tested a lot of these early returned modules, when I fitted them to my test machine in the workshop the bloody things worked fine. Approx 8 out of 10 tested OK
This can only mean that the faults were actually due to either :-
A) Loose connections
B) Out of balance
C) Blocked filters
D) Wrong program selection
E) Customer educationI’m not having a pop at anyone here as we were all on a learning curve but once the lads had actually attended a few repairs and got a feel for the machines and how they operated the demand for PCB’S soon tailed off.
Every time some one phones with a new problem they have conquered I always ask and encourage them to post a description of it up on the ISE support forum so that we can build up our own data base of service bulletins /updates.
You have to understand that some of you guys, especially those with service areas in the larger city’s and conurbations actually get to see a lot more service calls in the field than I do.
When John has picked up the odd problem machine (From all ends of the country! Bless him ) for me to test, then, invariably by the time it gets to me then some one is desperate for a couple of spares which I have just run out of and have to rob from said machine. (Not affected Parts I hasten to add)
That said, I fitted Ron’s returned dispenser which I received tail end of last week
And on the three washes I have tried it on so far it has taken the conditioner without leaving any water behind.Does this make Ron and his customer Liar’s?
Certainly not ! What I am trying to say in my long winded response
is that faults do not always replicate on different machines. This is why I strongly encourage you guys to share your pointers, hint’s, tip’s and experiences on this forum as there can be a plethora of reasons why a machine will present certain similar faults on different machines and the more we share, the easier it will become to zero in on the actual fault.

I tell you what though, it’s no fun lifting a 10 up to the third floor by hand, no fun at all… especially when it’s nigh on 30ËšC outside. 😮
