    Re: Aeg dishwasher leaking

We had a modern built in AEG dishwasher leaking recently and my son-in law (family affair), eventually found one of the seams leaking, near the top I think, and water running inevitably into the base. He glued it but advised customer not ideal repair. 👿

    Hi,
Pump impeller should have tapered blades (approximately ten). Sounds like they might have broken off.

You could try activating the flood switch which should run pump and you can then see if drain route is clear. If that works then you have probably got a board supply to pump fault.

Re: Whirlpool AWM6163 Bearing seal-v ring

In several machines this type of seal usually fits on a ridge on the back of the drum spider and the flexible V part of the seal brushes against a polished stainless washer that is secured in a rubber seal in front of the inner bearing. I do not see many Whirlpools but this is how they usually work.

Re: LG GRL207TUJA American side by side.

I was afraid that might be the case as I have no regas skill or equipment and presumably there is a leak somewhere although no obvious signs. The condenser fan is working fine but there is no heat being dissipated from it . The compressor is hot however. I noticed it uses R134a gas.
    Can it be economically fixed??

    Re: Whirlpool Diplomat ADP8322 Flowmeter.

As another thought, Bosch dishwashers also use reed switches in their flowmeter jugs (as they call them), not so expensive as the WPL side tanks but worth changing the switches on returned units for exchange purposes. 💡

    Hi all,
Just thought I should post the answer to problem.
Heater was leaky, but not all the time, great. However new heater cured, but not until I had already bought and fitted new board.

    Hi,
I’ve found a door trim if you want one although I’m not sure how to send contact and cost details without posting them here as I can’t remember how to do the private message bit.

You can take off what’s left of the door trim and clean off the glue and you’re left with a white door which should look OK, but if you want a trim I think I have still got a new one on a shelf somewhere.

    Thanks,
Did wonder about the NTC but did advise customer that if fitted might! be better but definately incurs extra cost in time having to call again etc. When tested in cycle temp seemed about right. I think I’ll let them decide.
    Cheers,
    Derek.

Absolutely right Simon, I found the page for the version 01 as opposed to 00 had the info and fault 31 is advised so have ordered an analogue pressure switch. Hope it works as have had customers machine for two weeks and the phone is hot, hot!

Re: Zanussi Int w/d ZJD1219i No start

Unfortunately the page which gives the information to access the diagnostics is missing in the on-line manual on pro-corner. It jumps from page 50 to 52 and the info once you are in diagnostic mode is there but not how to access. Any info? I was able to get into the demo mode as mentioned and that worked so I did wonder if it might be configuration.
    Thanks,
    Delahart.
