Come to think of my darker days :eeek: wasn’t the Crusader made by the “old” Creda and the Proline’s by Hotpoint??

ModeratorRe: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers
They were marketed as Crusader Jim 😉
Anyway I have just been talking to a little bird who tells me that there have been instances of the new dryers being offered at £59 and £99 catching fire already. Of course it’s a rumour at this stage 😮No doubt our consumer champion on ITV will tell us all in due course.
I have a retailer document in my possession which I will scan in and post when I can.

ModeratorRe: Is Hotpoint the same as Indesit? Advice on upright free
Hi
If this appliance is going to be in an unheated area like a garage or a shed the Indesit will work as it is a manual defrost appliance, The Hotpoint on the other hand is a frost free machine which has sensors which are temperature sensitive which means the appliance will not work correctly if at all.
The Beko on the other hand while it is also frost free will as Beko state work in outside temperatures down to minus 15 degrees as stated on their website.
Price wise, a direct comparison can be made using the Hotpoint and the Beko as they are both frost free.
HTH 🙂

A model number would be a good start 😉

ModeratorRe: Replacing an integrated fridge/freezer
Hi
It’s a standard 50:50 split integrated fridge freezer with door sliders, the depth of 540 is pretty much standard give or take a few mm.
Hotpoint HRF3114UK is one of the many options that will fit. A good kitchen fitter will install one quite easily.

Hi
Send an email to Dave spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk don’t forget the serial number 😉 or send him a photo of the label. Dave sends out to addresses world wide so Spain should be a piece of cake.

Hi Rob
You will nee the serial number starting 03127 then search Connect by spares, brand and model number which will give you the explosion to the various sections. Thermostats are on the banjo and back plate explosion with the descriptions and prices further down.

Glad you have got it sorted 😀
A lot of us prefer to “carry” as it’s safer than “bumping” when using trucks. Let us know when it’s all sorted and up and running, it will finish the thread off.

I would go back to CO-OP in the first instance and request exchange as it’s faulty on first use.

Is the padlock symbol lit? If it is you need to disable it by pressing the ending in and the alarm symbol together to disable it.
