Re: Wanted Bosch extractor kit. (NEW)

    Hi Garn

Bosch spares have it in stock, if you don’t have an account with them Dave in the UKW shop should be able to help spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

Or you could order it direct from the Bosch spares shop which the public use, kit here came up after I entered DHZ5325 into the search function.

    Hi

It’s a trade off really, Bosch have their own service network which is very good. Samsung is a little more sparse and the spares at times can be slow.

Samsung reliability seems okay on the ones we have sold so the five year warranty could be a good peace of mind buffer. We sell more Bosch so we see more for repair. So I guess it’s a six of one and half a dozen of the other.

The Bosch WAE28161 at John Lewis could be worth the extra for the 1400 spin.

They sure are Panasonic washing machines for starters :rolls:

Two customers have already said ” Oh I thought I was buying Japanese as it’s the same name as my TV “

The most recent related thread was 2008!! Too old I guess and not enough volume to warrant keeping them in stock.

    Hi

Looking at the related threads at the bottom of the page which are old now 😉 it looked like Maddocks used to stock spares for Tecnik. Could be worth ringing them to find out if they have stock left unless you have tried them already.

I see Ebay have both top and bottom elements 😉

Re: Whirlpool 7560/1 integrated dishwasher replacement

Full fitting kits come with each dishwasher.

Whirlpool are now the new owners of Hotpoint and Indesit we don’t know yet how the tie up will go as it’s early days. Can of worms comes to mind :rolls:

That model will be made prior to takeover, not bad dishwashers same quality as the Hotpoint and in the same price range.

    Hi Sue

While it’s true that dishwasher fitting kits do vary your door will them all. It’s a case of following the manufacturers installation instructions to get the job done right first time.

As for machine choices it’s generally accepted that the more you pay the better quality appliance while this is true in the main it doesn’t always work out like that.

My three price band choices which not everyone will agree on 😆 are Beko, budget end easy to repair and easy accessible parts, Hotpoint Britain’s most trusted brand for the last ten years again easy to repair and spare parts easy to come by. They do suffer from poor electronics though. Bosch and Neff (same group) my favourite if I’m honest slightly more but worth it and a two year warranty. Service and spares readily available slightly easier to adjust the legs on these when leveling machine and finding the right height.

    Hi

Whirlpool and the Hotpoint WMTF722H are the only ones in the UK now.

The Whirlpool models have always had a good following and seem pretty reliable as well.

Nothing at UK Whitegoods shop, Connect, Elementman or Ebay even the Germany site, Bosch also obsolete.

Looks like you may have to modify or sell your customer a shiny new oven 😉 as that Neff is approx 10 years old.

Unless someone has one in a darkened corner of their workshop / store.
