Hi
Found your machine on Maytag website. I was hoping to find the user manual there but there is no support option. If you can’t solve it a phone call to them on 0844 499 0101 may be the way forward.

ModeratorRe: recommended tumble dryers?
Hi
Great article here on tumble dryer buying advice.
In a nutshell
Vented dryers are by far the most reliable machines, simple tech, not many bells and whistles and good value.
Condenser dryers have more tech and potentially less reliable. Some models can accomodate drain hoses for direct drain.
Heat pump dryers are energy efficient A rated machines but come at a much higher cost than the other two. If you do the sums you will see what I mean 😉
As for brands Gorenje and Bosch are both worth a look.

ModeratorRe: Induction or gas hob?
Hi
I personally still prefer gas but it depends on your cooking style. Wok cooking for example it’s best to use gas.
Gas hobs will accept all saucepans while induction hobs require ferrous oxide pans (ones which a magnet will stick to ) 😉
Cost wise, induction use approx 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} less electricity than standard ceramic hobs, heat up and cool quicker as well.
Installation requirements for induction is a little more tricky as as the hobs have fans in them you can only install a single oven under an induction hob. Always check the installation instructions before purchase as incorrect installation could affect your warranty.
Depending on budget I would look at Gorenje and Bosch.

ModeratorRe: Bosch Eco-clean?
Hi
It’s just a variation on the good old stay clean liners which Bosch have the copyright name to.
Pyrolitic cleaning altogether different 😉

ModeratorRe: Whirlpool interlock
Hi Jim
Can’t see it listed on Whirlpool spares but Connect says it’s this one here in the UKW shop which certainly lists your model.
Playing it safe as I don’t want another wrong part “in my box ” 😉

ModeratorRe: Football Season 2012/13
A tough start to the season I must admit. But then I think back to the last time we were in this position in the premier league after 4 games. We ended up in our highest league placing of 8th IIRC and made the FA cup final.
I’m not deserting my team COYR.

ModeratorRe: dishwasher buying advice
Hi
Indeed Bosch and Miele are still the best.
On the Bosch website you can compare models via the tick boxes which will give you the low down on water, electricity, noise levels, functions and features amongst other things.
From that you can then come up with a short list for pricing.
