Thanks they seem to be cheaper than Miele as well so I’ll make a note for the future when I do need a new one.

Reason for that is Miele like to have “extras” in their machines and I guess the cost to Miele plus their own margin is the reason for the higher retail price.

Bosch no longer produce freestanding cookers for the UK market 😉

Online reviews!! Everyday in the shop I get “on the internet it says …….” 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time what is read is untrue. My response is ” do you believe everything you read in the papers?” Usually the answer is ” no of course not”
Then there are fake reviews, cash or products for reviews and even disgruntled ex employees giving poor reviews.

Reviews can be a good guide but research, research and some more will weedle out the good from the bad.

Personally I would stay with the Beko.

In your original pist you mention oven and cooker which to the trade are two different things. You havn’t said if this is a 60cm freestanding appliance you are looking for or a built in oven. My findings below are based freestanding cookers.

So in a nut shell Flavel, Liesure and Beko are all the same company. These are good cookers for the price, spares are reasonably priced and readily available.

Hotpoint and Indesit have the largest range of all and I must admit we sell more of these than everyone else put together. The new range is the best they have produced in some time. Spares and service are readily available.

Zanussi and Belling produce good solid machines but both brands have shrunk dramatically over the last ten years or so but I still like them.

Overall nothing is built or has a long life span anymore price erosion has seen to that. Overall you can’t go far wrong for a Hotpoint all things considered.

It’s worth googling a part number you never know it may be cheaper. We also check Ebay as well as long as you check out the sellers rating before buying.

    I don’t think that’s right.

The “standard” height for worktop surfaces is 900-920mm, has been for donkeys years.

They have indeed but I have sold a few extra height products over the years where the client has had 1000mm or even 1250mm height base units which can be handy if the consumer is tall. Miele still produce an XXl dishwasher and I believe Neff still as well. Granted we don’t sell many but the option is there if required.

Beko are nice and easy to work on, spares are cheaper if and when needed. Of course the price is cheaper but I find the life span is similar to Bosch.

If you are washing for one I would class you as a light user compared to some. I would look at the Beko range.

    Well done for persevering 😀

The 2 snow flake symbols are cold wash ones which is the temperature your cold water is.

I am guessing the one on the right is for cottons which will have a more rigorous wash action while the left one is for lighter fabrics.

    No symbols attached I’m afraid.

You will need to host themon somewhere like Google pics and then link them here to your post.
