Re: Non FSD cookers in flats, update.

A little bird has just informed me that as from the first April this year manufacturers can no longer supply any gas cooker without a fsd. No firm date yet for retailers to sell the old ones through though.

There will no doubt be some “dumping” of manufactured stock to the likes of DAD and Portway at bargain prices so I`m led to believe.

    Hi Simon

AWG5122 is a washing machine and the 12 no. code is for the same model, not a wine chiller 😉 at a guess the wine chiller model will probably start ARC or ARZ.

Enlarging the Connect picture it appears that the surround kit sits inside the housing on one side anyway. It would have been handy if the cut out size was given as well. Can`t tell if it can be cut to fit.

I wonder if a call to Connect would yield any info?

It does not make it clear whether this is a universal part or if it only fits Electrolux microwaves. It looks like Electrolux only sell built in models so perhaps the surrounds are just replacement parts for those? Does anyone have any information about this product such as dimensions?

    Hi Phidom

The info you seek was just under the Connect picture 😉

Thanks to this kit, it is now possible to integrate your freestanding microwave in to any kitchen

Re: Top quality fridge freezer needed , but only 59×175 spac

    Hi Mark

Trouble is the bottom width at around 595 is the same measurement as the machine itself. You really do need to have 600mm at the bottom to ensure it slides in. If it`s on an end there is always the skirting board removal trick 😉 to gain a centimetre or so.

    Hi

If it`s this Home Pure machine apart from checking for blockages as HWL suggested, there is not a lot else you can do. Looks like a Chinese import to me. there is no service back up listed in the UK and Googling for spares reveals nothing either. Time to replace with a new one methinks.

    Hi Mark

Nothing made of that width in any of the mainstream brands I`m afraid. As you have already found the only width you will get is the 55cm machines, something like the Bosch KGV28V01 Only other option would be to increase the width of the existing space if possible.

    Hi Paul

Right then so you can have a peaceful weekend and a happy mrs 😆 take a look at this comparison link.

The 24164 is discontinued and the 24364 replaces it, however you may still be able to pick up a 24164 which may be cheaper. The spec on both machines is the same.

They do indeed have the sealed tub. The WAA machines are the budget range aimed at first time buyers to the brand. Usually made under licence in Spain IIRC. Still come with the same two year warranty, which makes them a good buy.

The Spanish ilk machines can easily be recognised by the stub door handle as opposed to the half moon ones of the rest of the range.
