ModeratorRe: Integrated kitchen fit out Pt II – Drawer Fridge
Hi
Seems a lot of money for not a lot of storage if you ask me. Yes it will look good in the kitchen and probably will be a talking point. Take the Hotpoint, it has a net capacity of only 5.5 cu feet. You can achieve the same amount of storage in a 60cm wide freestanding under counter larder for a fraction of the cost. Perhaps I`m just too practical and too long in the tooth 😆
The concept of fridge drawers in the UK is similar to the dishdrawer, popular in New Zealand and parts of Oz yet to take off in the UK. As a result limited availability, low volume sales which equals the high ticket prices.
If I had to choose one I would probably go with the Hotpoint with it`s five year parts warranty and cheaper cost of parts after that.
Another option would be an integrated tall larder as you mentioned in one of your previous posts.

Hi Kate
I have deleted the duplicate thread and copied the following from the “new” thread you started. Much easier for posters to help if it`s kept to one thread and causes less confusion.

It seems after a bit research it may be that the inner drum is rubbing against the outer drum (plastic) when spinning, thus causing the flange to melt and rip away.
How would this be solved if the case.
Thanks.
Thanks

Hi
Yep I`d certainly leave that site well alone 😉 John Lewis is a much safer bet. The Zanusssi ZDE47100 would be a good choice, well made machine, sensor dry option as well as the standard timed drying. Another reason to buy from JLP is you get a full two year warranty.

Hi
Bosch 70cm wide gas hob, gas on glass with flame failure device, ideal if you live in a flat. Model no. PPQ716B90E, just slightly over budget.
Sadly again the base Bosch built under double is again over budget with the HBN13B251. Personally I would rather spend the same amount on a single oven with it`s larger cavity than having two smaller ones on the double, unless it`s flexibilty you are after. The HBA13B251 would be my choice, it ticks all your boxes, comes with the circular knobs to match the hob and will come in under budget as well.
The only other microwave oven that comes to mind covering all your bases is the Sharp R890, which could be worth having a look at.

Hi Andy
I would be happy to deliver one to the Plymouth ferry port and meet up. If it`s possible for you to get there from Roscoff.
edit: if you are prepared to drive from Portsmouth towards Devon I could meet you around half way mark.
The usual online delivery charge would be fine to cover the distance 😉Don

ModeratorRe: Has my NEFF S5456 died?
Glad everything turned out well for you.
£65 for the install that was a steal as well, sounds like he completed a good professional installation.
It`s all the price to be fair @ £329 for a Bosch branded fully integrated dishwasher you will only get a plastic base and not so many of the frills and spills, spend £499 and up and yes you will get stainless steel.
Bosch like other Manufacturers do produce outside of Germany in their own factories again to keep prices competitive.

Hi waters
You will need to contact Currys Partmaster for Kenwood spares, it`s one of their own labels.
