    Hi

None available for download I`m afraid, Diplomat was a badge name for MFI. The majority of spares for Diplomat / Hygena are now supplied by AW Services while they are not showing any stock they may be able to help you with an alternative.

    Hi

Bosch, Neff and Siemens are all part of the same group. It`s well known I am a big fan of this group. Miele are well known for producing about the best quality appliances out there, service information is restricted to their own engineers and the price of parts are high. AEG now part of the Electrolux group, no longer the German producer it once was. Beko is a budget Turkish brand cheap and cheerful and as for Whirlpool don`t get me started :rolls: This link on how the manufacturers line up is quite interesting.

    Hi

Go for a Bosch or a Siemens machine, you will need to allow a budget of £350 to £450. No sealed drums either 😉

Just a quick question what is the advantage of a cold fill washing machine compared to a hot fill?

    Cheers
    John

Uses on average only 50 litre a wash and about 8 pence of electricity per cycle. Old machines like the old Hotpoint 95 series and the Hoover logics used about 120 litres and goodness knows how much electricity. So if customer is on a water meter it will save them loads of dosh and the same on the electricity side as well.

Walter of Woodham wrote:After some on-line research I’ve now found the SGV53 E33 available from several Retailers @ way less than £400 delivered, with the cheapest only £329 delivered. Obviously I’d have to pay someone to install it, but even if that costs me, say, £70, it will be a considerable saving (IF the online retailer fulfils their side of the deal properly).

Aha but do they have any in stock? It could be worth checking before making a commitment with the plastic.

Alternatively, I’ve never actually attempted to install an integrated Dishwasher myself…but as we’re ‘only’ talking about a swap-over here, in your considered opinion could a layman quite easily do the job by simply following the Manual?

The installation instuctions are relatively easy to follow, the hardest part is getting the timber door level with the others in the run. Worth every penny having it installed professionally.

Trying to find a bit more out about this model, I did find this apparently independant comment: “Bosch SGV53E33GB built in fully integrated dishwasher. The overall performance is very good it obtained A grade in each category. There are only 5 programs to control the machine. The weight of machine is 69Kg that is too much.”
Puzzled by why the weight should matter (unless you have to haul one upstairs, which luckily I don’t) and have happily got by with “only” 5 Programmes on our old Neff.

Seems a fair review having just read the tech spec. Don`t know where the reviewer got the weight figure from as it only weighs 37kg.

Re: Has my NEFF S5456 died?

    Hi

At £499 delivered and installed, yes it is a good deal at that price. Can`t remember the story behind the other variant though, a year in this game is a long time let alone 40 of them 😉

I assume the 53M00 OH has seen has collapsible plate racks in the bottom basket allowing the the cutlery basket to move around freely? Did the other one not have this option? I`d go for the cheaper option everytime, but then that`s probably the cheepskate in me lol.

Miele appliances are without doubt superb quality appliances, you would need to up the budget to around £800 though.

    Hi

Bosch SGV53, two variants of that one the E13GB and the E23GB, replaced last year by the SMV50E00GB. Very good machine, well made, high spec and quiet too. From the same stable as Neff should come with a two year warranty as well. How much is the retailer asking for it?

    Hi Rick

There hasn`t been anything made in that height for many a year I`m afraid. this spec sheet gives typical sizes of today`s ovens. Best way forward would be to fit a new oven and fill in the excess with a wooden fillet.

Re: Neff Double Oven plus Induction Hob – Suggestions Please

    Hi

A Neff oven and 4 plate induction hob is going to come out around the £1100 mark. Both items are low volume sellers which keeps the price higher than their counterparts the ceramic hob and the built in double oven. Neff as a brand has always been regarded highly for producing good quality appliances in the mid to upper range when it comes to quality.

Induction hobs do require ample ventilation especially if it will be installed over a double oven. Ventilation requirements for a standard 4 plate hob available here to view.
