daily echo wrote: Saints relegation has been confirmed in the last few minutes, after the Football League decided to impose a ten-point deduction on the club.
The League have released a statement, which said they could find no distinction between the club and its parent company, Southampton Leisure Holdings.
As a result, Saints will be deducted ten points at the end of this season if they finish outside the drop zone.
If they finish in the bottom three they will start next season on minus-ten points in League One.
Exeter V Saints next year then :rolls:

Is there anything available that would be able to cope with running in potentially hot room during summer months without too much bother? I know there are ratings for min/max temperatures etc
Hi teebsthere is a good article here which is worth reading on temperature classes. SN- ST is normally available in the UK.

Hi Ian
Probably the best way would be to look at the Miele website at these models which should come in on budget W3240, The W3260 and W3744 will be discontinued shortly but you should still be able to obtain one.
If it were me I would still reccomend the ISE appliances 😉 also this Miele / ISE thread is also worth a look.

Hi karena
For what they cost it`s cheaper to replace the mini oven.

ModeratorRe: what washing machine to buy!?advice needed
Miele are currently offering promotional guarantees until the 31st may 09. The offer is a five or ten year warranty depending on model number purchased. ISE10 comes with a full ten year warranty as standard 😉 .

Hi katie
Out of the three you have mentioned I would rather go for quality of wash and pwerformance over quantity anyday. The ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated with a full 10-year warranty has to tick all the boxes and a local engineer will deliver it, wet test and run through the appliance with you.
This from the ISE website sums up the brand and ethos nicelyISE wrote: Robust build quality + long guarantees + no parts mark up + local service = Long Life

See if anyone has a WAE24363GB in stock. It`s a much better unit than the WAA range and if anyone has one left you may well be able to come in on budget. The WAE24164 is a new model but I don`t know if any are in the shops yet.

ModeratorRe: Having trouble finding a small cooker
Hi Alan
50cm deep cookers finished a long long time ago. either the 50cm deep worktops and units need changing to accomodate the 60cm depth or you accept that a 60cm deep is going to stand proud.
Cannonare probably about the best out there and it will probably be a name that your parents will know and trust. There are three models which are 50cm with lid Langdale, Keswick and the Coniston.
If they live a flat then the cooker will need to have the safety cut out on the hob known as a flame failure device, in which case the Connemara would be the one to go for.
Even if they don`t live in a flat this may be a safer option anyway 😉

ModeratorRe: Good fridge freezer?
Hi ozzie
Brands in order of build quality and reliability IMHO would be Liebherr, Fisher & Paykel, Miele, (of which some are made by Liebherr 😉 ) Bosch, Siemens, AEG, Zanussi, Electrolux, Gorenje, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, Beko, Indesit and Lec. To get a grip on who is with who this guide to what is in a name is a good read as is this guide on fridge freezers.
Most of the brands above will have A rated products as energy performance is at the foremost in consumers minds these days. In the end as always it comes down to price and the old nugget still applies you do get what you pay for.
Hope this gives you a good start, anything else then just ask.
