The only manufacturer I know of with a right hand hinged door is Miele as for the left hand control bit not a clue. This Miele prestige plus has a more central control unit if it helps. Not the perfect solution I know 😉 but a compromise may be needed.

Quite agree about the tv scenario although we have seen a shift towards the premium end of late, perhaps joe public is starting to wake up to the fact that buying cheap means buying twice.

It would be interesting to see a thread for the engineers on the forums to post what products they actually have in situ in their homes.

You start it off then and we`ll follow 🙂

This is generally my recommendations so please correct me here to provide better customer service.

    Hi Dave

Like P45 says welcome to the board, it`s good to have another like minded retailer aboard. Reading betwen the lines do you by any chance work for one of the big “C`s” as the insurance part of your post seems all to familiar 😉 .

Again not to quote P45 too much, like me you are in retail so you are trade, so why not apply for trade access? You will be surprised at how much you can learn on the “other side” 😆 and the banter is good fun as well.

When it comes to product ranges like you I always want to look after our customers and I don`t like selling the budget lines but sometimes that`s all the customer wants and is not prepared to be educated :rolls: When it comes to build, reliability, guarantee lengths and service backup. We are Bosch, Hotpoint group, Neff and Miele authorised dealers. These provide our core stock along with any special buys we feel are a reasonable product at a good price. we can therefore supply products from budget to premium depending on the customers requirements.

Yep I agree with you on your product choices, on tumble dryers I personally like the White Knight range by Crosslee, they are good honest machines built well for the price and are easy to repair, far better than the Hotpoint`s and Indesit`s 😉 Built in appliances it`s Neff for us everytime, unless it`s a property let of course then yes it will always be a budget machine.

which part of the country are you in ❓

I was really liking the ISE machines! Gutted.

Any machine will go into the space you have. Remove the the plinth, cut through it, remove the old machine and fit any freestanding machine in it`s place 😉

Have found a Fagor fwm714it, which is intergrted and has a 5 year parts and labour warrenty. Best price £389. Looks like a good deal but never heard of them!

While I personally have no experience of Fagor, at that sort of price it aint gonna last long after the five year warranty has expired :rolls: then you will need to start over. Best if you can would be to invest now for the future years.

    Hi

To get longevity of life, long guarantee and quality of product to cope with 13 odd cycles a week is not gonna come cheap 😉 .

Probably the best out there is the ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated which does come with a full ten year domestic warranty and a three year commercial warranty, however it does come at a higher price.

What you will get is a machine that will last in the region of twenty years, be serviced by a local engineer who in most cases would have installed it as well for you. While it isn`t integrated, the unique drop down outer door does hide the porthole quite nicely. More on ISE appliances can be found here currently the machines only come in the white finish.

don wrote:Cannonare probably about the best out there and it will probably be a name that your parents will know and trust. There are three models which are 50cm with lid Langdale, Keswick and the Coniston.

I was comparing the Cannon Langdale twin cavity @ £339 to the Indesit KD3G2WG twin cavity @ £239. The doors shut with a nice “thunk” as opposed to a “ting”, the pan supports appear to be thicker and the edges on the cabinet are nowhere near as sharp. The control knobs run smoother as well.

I was merely going by the OP request of a 50cm wide cooker in gas with lid 😉

    Hi wsts

We have Indesit and Cannon in stock and I must say the Cannon is a much better built and the finish is superior. I did look at the Indesit range but they don`t produce a 50cm lidded gas cooker which the OP requested.
