zappomatic wrote: Will stay away from the Rangemaster and go for a Neff I think.
Hi
Good choice methinks 😉 the Neff equivalent on paper spec would be the S54E53 the physical difference is chalk and cheese, totally super build, quality interior especially the baskets and runners. flexible fold down racks in baskets, height adjustable top basket without taking the whole thing out, easy to use and energy efficient too. Coupled with a two year warranty you won`t go far wrong. If you require more bells and whistles then there is the S5555 on the Neff dishwasher page.
If you are intending to purchase through J.L.P for any staff discount, then this Neff S54M45 ticks all the boxes as well.

Hi
The only chance you would have would be the Tricity Tiara, model SB200 which I know was discontinued a little while ago, you never know someone may still have some left 😉 . It is a small cooker measuring 46cm wide with seperate grill and oven cavity with the highback top controls. I can`t remember the exact depth but IIRC it was less than 60cm. That apart there is the Baby Belling table top oven with grill and two rings on top.

Hi Chris
The widest cooker you can accomodate is 55cm, of which the choice is minimal to say the least. Currently available is the Belling E552, Stoves 550E:EL and the Zanussi ZKC5540. Out of the three I would go with the Zanussi for build and I like the slope control panel for ease of use.

The only one that is any good is the Miele WT2670 and that comes with a hefty price tag 😉 better to have seperate units if space allows.

Hi Ed
Thanks for the info. The sizes you have given indicate it could be a built under counter fridge installed as a column appliance and made to fit. To make sure we get any replacement recommendation right the follwing links should explain where I`m coming from 😉 the first link is an under counter fridge or this one which would install at waist height known as a column fridge.

ModeratorRe: Cookers with a Halogen Hob
Hi Sorry but I thought the easiest way to reply was to break your post into smaller chunks 😉
robbink wrote:
Halogen Hob (3 Halogen + 1 fast ceramic)The most you will ever get is one, probably due to the cost it would add to an appliance. Also the standard ceramic pots these days are far quicker than say on your old cooker.
robbink wrote:
FAST “solar” fully controlled grill (ie Fully variable whole or half on)The solar grills are exclusive on Hotpoint and Cannon cookers ( both are owned by Indesit) so no choice there I`m afraid.
robbink wrote: Fan Main Oven with ‘catalytic’ liners
Conventional top (small) ovenMost manufacturers have this arrangement, Belling and Zanussi spring to mind immediately.
robbink wrote: Ive looked realy hard – and can’t find anything even remotely close to this specification – nobody seems to make a decent stand alone cooker.
This very subject came up on here a while ago and the same conclusion was reached. Cannon apart the Zanussi range may come close or the Stoves 61EHDO which does have a single halogen zone.
robbink wrote:
The nearest is the Cannon Kendal, but it has no Halogen Rings.
Is it possible to retrofit these (I know it will be expensive, but probably worth fitting 2). The similar Hotpoint model has 1 halogen ring, but unfortunately does not have the ‘solar’ grill and there does’nt look like any way of changing this as the mountings are different.
Thanks
RobbinK
Even if you could retrofit, the cost implication would be horrendous, the manufacturers guarantee would be null and void. The worst case scenario would be if a fire occured as a result of the “mod” your insurers would bound to walk away from any potential claim. The Cannon Kendal is a good cooker, we bought one for our daughters house warming pressie. We trawled every shop in the area so she could see what was out there and how the build compared along with how flexible the ovens were and of course how it looked.

ModeratorRe: Washing machine but which one of these should I buy
Hi
lt`s still a current model, the WAA range is their entry level machine, the WAE washers are a higher spec, both ranges come with the normal two year warranty.
