My thoughts exactly.

i don’t mind paying the extra provided I know I can get them repaired but it seems to me that most appliance regardless of cost to the consumer, are either difficult or downright impossible to get repaired. If I pay more for something it is because I expect it to be more reliable as well as repairable.
As I touched on in previous post the “right to repair” legislation will come in. This will make repairing an appliance easier for the public and trade and also extending the life of the product. However this will come at a price as appliances will have to go up in order to sustain this. I also think the cost of the spares will also increase.
I personally believe like others in this trade it will be a good thing making appliances last longer as they can be repaired has to be a better option than cheap rubbish that does not last and ends up being recycled after a few years.

ModeratorYou will have a block charcoal filter which has a replaceable electrostatic filter on top of that, this needs to be replaced and comes with every set of bags. The black one is the inlet filter which needs to be kept clean as well. Pages 52 and 53 of your instruction manual cover filters.
As Dave has advised don’t play with it ring Miele.

ModeratorThat’s a good can of worms to open 😉
Like a lot of TV’s nowadays even Panasonic, Sony and Toshiba along with others are made by Vestel.
On white goods a lot are also made by Vestel!!
In the old days I could tell by the barcode which country it was made in so you had a good idea which factory. Nowadays barcodes by a lot of manufacturers are registered to their head office so you have no idea where it has come from. I have even phoned some and been told that the product is made in the EU no help there then.
You have to rely upon the “name” on the front in a lot of cases and trust it’s okay.
Hopefully in years to come when appliances have to be built so they can be repaired ( the right to repair legislation) will things get better but that will come at a cost to the consumer!!

ModeratorJust look at UK models, only look at Bosch, Neff and Siemens all one group. Zanussi, Electrolux and AEG all one group. Whirlpool, Hotpoint and Indesit all one group.
Miele, Liebher and Elica and there some others which are top end manufacturers.

ModeratorElica produce cooking products primarily cooker hoods. Cookology is unbranded cheap items of Chinese type origin. There is no back up or support we can find in the UK. As for Inonnocenti of which I had not heard of, a quick Google search tells me they were once a Scooter and automotive manufacturer!!
You need to research research and some more as well.

ModeratorI know that Hotpoint in order to achieve A energy rating their ovens will cycle by turning fan and element off when it reaches temperature and both kick in again as and when temp drops to a preset level. On that basis yes it does seem possible that this could happen to the grill as well.
The instructions do state that grilling must be done with the door open. Page 12 of the instructions give average cooking times for different food products so it may be a case of new meal timings 😉

April 10, 2021 at 8:03 am in reply to: Bush WV12-75D (WV12-75DSS) Dishwasher Instruction Manual #476201don
ModeratorBush is a badge name exclusively for Argos. There has been little support industry wide for any of their appliances. Bear in mind the machine is well over seven years old and really is at life end for what was a budget machine.
I cannot find a manual either so I think this part of your enquiry is a lost cause.
Good luck with your other thread 😉

Moderator195.302.235 does indeed go to a cooker hood. It maybe that the same ENR was used again but later.
Best way forward would be to post a photo of the valve here, you will need to host it first on somewhere like Google images.
I’m sure someone will be able to suggest something that will do the job.

ModeratorIf you are buying the second hand appliances from a reputable dealer with a guarantee then items like Liebherr will outlast the new budget ones. Smeg is over priced and not the best quality.
Your ip address suggests you are in Denmark? That being the case the product models will be different to the UK models.
