Hi Kirkie
Take a look at the buying guide here which may be useful for a start http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ge&pid=186 As far as websites are concerned al;l of the mainstream manufacturers have them, for purchasing and comparison sites kelkoo is probably one of the best IMO.

Hi TLO
You seem to have done all the hard work already 😉 Neff built in double oven 900 high (which all ovens are) will do you well. As far as the grill and cleaning are concerned forget it as it is not a problem when it comes to cleaning 😉 . Dishwasher, microwave and hood, Neff everytime. As for the hob I would go for the touch control Neff as well, they are so easy to use and keeping it clean is childs play. As far as ceramic against induction goes, the latter needs to be installed with plenty of ventilation as per the installation instructions. Free standing fridge freezer personally I would forget the Hoover and look at the Bosch and Hotpoint ranges much better reliability and longer life span.

Hi Mrs M
Before you dismiss the idea of side by side take a gander at this, it may help 😉 http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ge&pid=260 If you still decide against one, the newer Bosch ranges are about the best around and at a reasonable price too.

ModeratorRe: Will the Miele last with 3 kids?!
Looks like something of nothing if you ask me. I would`nt think you would get much on it and it would also impede any tall item in the top basket too.

ModeratorRe: Recommendations/ratings for new purchase
Hi
Stick to one of the well known brands like Bosch, AEG, Siemens, Zanussi, or Hotpoint. You should get a machine that will last a reasonable length of time for around the three hundred pound mark.
Just leave the Chinese ones alone 😉

adamhornsby wrote:Does anyone know if the older versions of the AEG FAV86070Vi fully integerated dishwasher has one of the Miele rip off cutlery trays in the upper basket, if ours does, can it be removed?
The cutlery trays are unique to Miele AFAIK Adam.

Hi emily
Out of the two I would go for the Belling. It`s better made and the back up is better IMO.
Just out of interest are you looking at all electric, gas or dual fuel ranges ? The better deals seem to be on the dual fual models, probably as there seem to be more of these about at the moment 😉

Anyone of those Gilbo is going to give excellent service. But if I had to put them in order then I would say Miele, Liebherr then Siemens.
Not seen any F&P appliances so I can`t really comment 😉 .

ModeratorRe: Miele – not as good as everyone says.
I generally find that once a customer has traded up to a Miele, nothing else will do when future appliances need replacing. Which from my point of view means happy retailer and customer.

To get back on topic, well done India on winning the first T20 compo. On the balance of the whole tournament they deserved it especially after dumping the Aussies out in the semis 😀
