As far as ceramic against induction goes, the latter needs to be installed with plenty of ventilation as per the installation instructions.

    Hi bzz

I would say the Karcher, Nilfisk and Miele cleaners take some beating. I`m a Henry fan myself

Comes with a posh price as well 😉

Gorenje EM300E solid plate or the ECS300SC details here http://www.gorenje.co.uk/default.asp?id=3593&page=3 not bad machines, good value and have the added bonus of a five year parts and labour warranty. Hotpoint also, with the EV302X ceramic hob and the E302 solid plate. Not such a good buy as they will only come with the standard one year labour and five years parts only warranty 😉 http://www.hotpoint.co.uk/macro/product … typeref=34

    Hi ONB

The best combo you will find is a fifty fifty split unless you go for seperate appliances again. Blame Edwina Currie for that one 😉

anthony16 wrote: I wonder if you could answer another question then, do you know how long the inlet and outlet hoses are for the machines?
    cheers Ant

IIRC the inlet hose is about a metre and the outlet is about 1.5 metres, however 2.5 metre inlet hoses are available from the shop here or from your`e local B&Q. You may need to measure to make sure though 😉 . Looks like a return trip to Currys may be on the cards.

As far as the maximum pumping distance is concerned I would not go over 2.5 metres.

    Hi Ant

No spec sheet or web site will tell you that I`m sorry to say. The only sure way is to arm yourself with a tape measure and visit the nearest stockist of one the models and take the measurements for yourself.

Try the AEGS75438KG and Hotpoint FF47MX both available in stainless steel and at reasonable prices.

If budget is not so tight and you want to go the extra mile then one of these two which again are both stainless steel Fisher & Paykel E442BLX A rated with a two year warranty or the Siemens KG49NA90GB which is probably the best IMO A+ energy with a full five year warranty.

Whichever appliances you go for get a bottle of this stainless steel cleaner http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/product_ … cts_id=991 It does do what it says on the label bought some a while ago when our new kitchen was fitted.

Re: Dishwasher that takes fascia panel?

    Hi teresa

I think the appliance you are looking for is “integrated” which means a door panel can be fitted. There are two types, one where the control panel is visible these are generally known as semi integrated machines. the other is the fully integrated where the whole of the appliance is behind a door panel, the controls on these are on the top edge of the appliance door.

Most manufacturers market both types, for all round good quality of machine the Bosch and Neff ranges are about the best. A two year warranty is included too and without breaking the bank 😉

A good article here on machine types may help http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … age&pid=18
